How did you get your dream job?
“Part of the struggle with finding a dream job was figuring out what that job looked like for me. I first needed to know what I liked and what I could be passionate about, which can also change over time. I thought of my career as a process of self-discovery and followed my instincts, which allowed me to find what’s right for me.”

What’s the best career advice you ever got?
“Value the relationships that you build along the way.”

What’s a good tip for job interviews?
“Talk about why you want to work for the new company / role, not about the reason you want to leave your current job. I have interviewed many people who have talked at length about why their current position isn’t right for them as opposed to telling me why this new role is the right step for them. It’s very hard to hire people who are running away from problems as opposed to running towards new opportunities.”

What are the three most important qualities in a successful manager?
“Empathy, communication and delegation.”
