Odyssey Pictures Corporation enters into a two-picture financing, development, and co-production deal with ReelWorks Studios and GlueWorks Creative Management, the animation unit of ReelWorks.  The two movie projects under the deal are GlueWorks’ feature film Hermie & Friends, based on the faith-based kid’s animated DVD series created by author Max Lucado.  GlueWorks is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.  The other project, not specifically for kids, is ReelWorks’ live-action movie The Ultimate Life, a sequel to The Ultimate Gift (2007), and both based on novels by Jim Stovall.  Odyssey holds the worldwide sales rights for both films.  Both features have already secured commitments from Fox Home Entertainment for their domestic DVD rights. Odyssey’s President/CEO John Foster will serve as Executive Producer on both titles.

AMG Films, a division of AMG Holdings, enters into a five-year, first look distribution deal with Warner Bros. • Bethlehem or Bust  the animated prequel  (released in 2D and 3D)to The Lion of Judah; Perfect Wave  a live-action movie based on the true story surfer Ian McCormack who went to Bali in search of “the perfect wave,” where he was stung by a jellyfish and died
  • Heart of a Man  this live action movie produced by AMG’s Prelude Pictures is a prequel to Amazing Grace and follows the real story of John Newton, an 18the century seaman who was given as a gift to a West African princess
