Another marketer has decided to take its programmatic and digital display buying in-house in an effort to better deal with digital fraud. Sprint’s yet-to-be-named unit will include its own production operation, YellowFan Studios. The telecom company will continue to work with agency Droga5 for strategy and Horizon Media for ad buying on TV and other platforms.

Digital kids advertising specialist Super Awesome is touting a report by PwC estimating that by 2019 the kids digital ad market will reach $1.2 billion globally as it grows by 25% year over year. PwC says that 28% of total advertising within the kids market will be digital by 2019.
Identity management company Drawbridge has formed a partnership with LiveRamp, which provides omnichannel identity resolution. Access to the Drawbridge Connected Consumer Graph now extends to the more than 500 adtech and martech platforms leveraging LiveRamp IdentityLink to power people-based marketing. The partnership is designed to enable marketers to create more consistent experiences for consumers across their many connected devices.
RADIO
Cumulus Media is going to license WideOrbit’s traffic software at all of its 447 stations nationwide. The agreement will enable Cumulus stations to traffic and manage digital, network and barter ads, facilitate electronic payments and optimize revenue. The deal will replace Cumulus’ Stratus traffic system, which will phase out beginning sometime before the end of the year and through the first quarter of 2019.
PROGRAMMATIC
WPP’s Mindshare has a new staffer named ANNA. It’s actually a system implemented this week to let programmatic media planners automate targeting and create lots of audience segments faster than ever. Now in beta, ANNA depends on the AppNexus demand-side platform and a new application programming interface from dynamic creative optimization platform Jivox.
The Trade Desk is going deeper in its integration with Tremor Video that will enable media buyers to access more premium programmatic inventory across connected TV and over-the-top platforms. The deal includes supply from DISH, Sling TV, A+E Networks and Bloomberg Media, the charter publishers participating in the offering.
Alphonso TV is renewing its partnership with the Tremor Video demand-side platform through December of 2018. As a result, the Tremor DSP will continue to be the exclusive source for Alphonso’s real-time TV viewership data from more than 40 million devices and 30 million households.

GroupM in Canada has created the new position of Chief Commercial Officer support its service expansion and trading efforts. It’s being filled by Stuart Garvie, who most recently was Deputy Global Trading Director at WPP’s Maxus.
Ted Malone is the new VP of Consumer Products and Services at TiVo. He comes from Ericsson where he headed the company’s IPTV portfolio.
