UCLA and Wescom Credit Union locked in a deal with Wescom in a 10-year partnership that expands on the existing relationship between the two leading entities and cements Wescom as the official banking partner of UCLA Campus Life, the UCLA Alumni Association, UCLA Athletics and the Rose Bowl Stadium. Wescom will pay UCLA, the Rose Bowl Stadium and IMG $38 million in partnership fees over the course of the ten-year term.
New York Road Runners unveiled Team #MovedMe, a group of inspirational runners participating in the TCS New York City Marathon who embody the transformative power of running. The group will share their own personal journeys and impactful stories through a multi-layered approach with inclusion in the TCS New York City Marathon’s website, brand spots, the televised broadcast on WABC and ESPN, social media, and media story-telling. Team #MovedMe is part of NYRR’s “It Will Move You” campaign, illustrating how the marathon moves more than 50,000 people through New York City’s five boroughs while also emotionally moving family, friends, and spectators and encouraging them to take on their own challenges.
DAZN and Bellator announced talent for Bellator 206: Mousasi vs. MacDonald, the inaugural exclusive Bellator event on DAZN. Coming out of the SAP Center in San Jose on Saturday, Bellator 206 will feature Mauro Ranallo and “Big” John McCarthy calling all the action cageside. Jay Glazer will host the desk with expert commentary and analysis from Chael Sonnen and Josh Thomson. Karate Combat: One World streams live from the top of the World Trade Center in NYC at 7p as 20 fighters from 13 countries compete with full-contact rules.
