July was the highest-rated month in Nat Geo WILD history, and the fastest-growing network of the summer for ad-supported cable, reports the net. The first week of Sharkfest helped kick off Wild’s highest performing month in the target demo for Nat Geo Wild with double digit increases in key demos vs. 2017. For Nat Geo WILD’s fiscal year growth, the network is up +37% versus last year, propelled by the combined strength of new season of The Incredible Dr. Pol and the annual Sharkfest.
Fox Business Network maintained the lead in business news the week of August 6, averaging 188,000 total viewers during Business Day. Lou Dobbs Tonight delivered 313,000 viewers and 40,000 among A25-54.
In syndication, talk leader Dr. Phil hit a three-week high of 2.7 in Live+SD Nielsens, up 4% from the week before and its 100th as the top talker. Dateline hit a six-week high of 1.3, up 8%, and Judge Judy managed a seven-week high of 6.4, up 2%.
