The 64th Annual Primetime Emmy® Awards telecast nabs additional presenters for the show this Sunday including Zooey Deschanel, Tina Fey, Melissa McCarthy, Emily Van Camp, Jon Cryer, Kerry Washington, Claire Danes, Jeremy Davies, and Martha Plimpton. The telecast, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, begins at 8p on ABC. The new presenters join previously announced presenters Louis C.K., Ricky Gervais, Ginnifer Goodwin, Mindy Kaling, Jim Parsons and Amy Poehler.

TV star Scott Baio, best known for playing Chachi, lands a new prime-time home headlining a family comedy he’ll also executive produce called See Dad Run premiering on Nick at Nite on October 14 at 8 p. He plays an actor, who starred as a popular TV dad for ten years, and then becomes a stay at home father so his soap star wife can take her turn in front of the camera. The pilot debuts October 6 at 9 p. Baio played Chachi on Happy Days and its spin-off Joanie Loves Chachi, but he also earned kudos in a recurring role on the award-winning Arrested Development. Executive producers Nat Bernstein and Mitchel Katlin serve as showrunners.

Showtime nabs record ratings for boxing this weekend, with the championship bout between Canelo Alvarez and Josesito Lopez on September 15 garnering more than 1 million viewers, the network said. That’s the second highest rating for a boxing event on Showtime since 2007.

The 21st season of NBC’s Dateline returns September 28 with correspondent Josh Mankiewicz slated to watch the first episode in a viewer’s home and live tweet during the broadcast, in a mixture of social media and viewer interaction. A Twitter campaign to host Mankiewicz in a viewer’s home began September 18.

FX renews late night comedy show Totally Biased With W. Kamau Bell for a second cycle with an order for seven more half-hour episodes. The first cycle concludes Thursday Sept 20 at 11p, and the second begins shortly after on Thursday October 11 at 11:30p, following BrandX with Russell Brand as the 11p lead-in.

Travel Channel launches a new limited series of specials dubbed Travel Like… beginning October 2 at 8p, with each hour-long episode showcasing how a particular type of person travels. The first installment is hosted by NBC News Correspondent Peter Alexander and covers how presidents travel, with future episodes to dive into how movie stars, moguls, and celebrities travel.

The fifth season of A Haunting, tackling scary supernatural activities, launches October 12 on Destination America with at least three episodes slated for that month. The show had previously aired on the Discovery Channel and now runs on Discovery-owned Destination America that reaches nearly 60 million homes.

HGTV and DIY launch the fundraising effort Rebuilding Together with students from Ohio State and University of Michigan competing to raise funds for the charitable organization. The event kicks off September 24 and runs through October 31. The winner earns a $25,000 donation to their local Rebuilding Together group, and the top team at each school will represent their school in a one-hour special on HGTV.

National Geographic Channel debuts its new series To Catch a Smuggler October 8 at 9p in a series that looks at how border and immigration agents at JFK airport attempt to limit drugs and other banned goods from coming into the United States.

Investigation Discovery brings a slate of new and returning shows to air in October with shows including the ABC series Final Witness launching October 1, as well as returning series such as Homicide Hunter: Lt. Joe Kenda on October 2, Devil You Know on October 17, The Will: Family Secrets Revealed on October 18, and the premiere of the new series Motives & Murders: Cracking the Case on October 30.

Saturday A18-49 Analysis:  ABC ranked #1 Saturday with a 1.6/5 among A18-49, according to final primetime national ratings from Nielsen, thanks to its Saturday Night Football game between Notre Dame and Michigan State that ran during primetime. Football also fared well for Fox, which placed second with a game between University of Southern California and Stanford that earned a 1.4/5. Despite the strength of college ball, NBC’s The Voice still managed a strong showing at 10p with a 1.2/4, third behind the games at that time slot.

Sunday A18-49 Analysis:  NBC owned Sunday by delivering a 7.7/21 with the A18-49 demo, according to final primetime national ratings from Nielsen. The network’s Sunday Night Football game between Detroit and San Francisco pulled a 8.9/23 with its 8:30p start for primetime, and remained tops in each time slot as well throughout the evening. At 7:30p, NBC also scored with its Football Night in America Part 2 that enjoyed a 3.1/10; its part 3 of that show at 7:45 grew to a 5.0/15. CBS was strong at 7:30p, snagging a 2.8/8 for 60 Minutes followed by a 2.4/6 for Big Brother at 8:30 p.

Monday A18-49 Analysis: 
NBC sang its way to the top among A18-49 Monday with a 4.5/12, according to final primetime national ratings from Nielsen.  At 8p, NBC’s The Voice bested the competition by a wide margin with a 4.7/12 for the two-hour episode, with the season premiere of Bones on Fox nabbing the second best spot with a 2.3/7 at 8 p, and Abismo de Pasion taking second during the 9 p hour with a 2.1/5. At 10p, NBC’s premiere of Revolution rode the strength of its lead-in to a 4.1/11, with Univision’s Amor Bravio #2 at 1.5/4.
