The Wall Street Journal debuted a slate of original video programming at its NewFront at Espace with the theme “Right Now.” The event was hosted by WSJ Live anchor and reporter Tanya Rivero, and featured keynotes from Robert Thomson, Chief Executive of News Corp, as well as remarks from Trevor Fellows, Head of Global Advertising Sales. “Our theme reflects the enormous appetite for accurate, timely, and above all else, reliable news – all of which The Wall Street Journal delivers. ‘Right Now’ also speaks to our ability to provide compelling, real-time marketing solutions through our suite of custom solutions,” said Fellows.
New original content consists of:
- Future of Everything, about the science and technology behind the inventions, innovations and ingenious concepts that shape life as we know it.
- An aggregation of the WSJ’s best video from the publisher’s staff called Signal, a global digital video magazine.
- The Short Answer, which unpacks complex, breaking news topics through data, graphics, animation, hosted by WSJ Senior Producer Jason Bellini.
- A second season of docu-series on the world’s innovative start-ups Startup of the Year.
