Good Morning. It’s Thursday, August 9, 2007, and this is your first early morning briefing.
Less than a month since its debut, TNT ordered an additional 15 episodes of its new drama Saving Grace starring Holly Hunter. The series, from Fox Television Studios, airs Mondays at 10p and Hunter does double duty as producer. Saving Grace premiered on July 23 with ad-supported cable’s largest audience for a new series opener for this year to date.
Also given an encouraging shot in the arm was Fox TV Studios’ Burn Notice by USA Network, receiving an order for 13 more episodes.
