CreativeX announced Creative Salience, a system to measure and enforce brand recognizability – tracking distinctive brand assets – across digital ads before media spend. According to Creative X, research suggests that just 16% of ads are sufficiently branded to generate recall, meaning the majority of global advertising spend is failing to build long-term brand equity. Creative Salience automatically detects signals like logos, taglines, packshots, colors, mascots, and audio cues, and measures how effectively brands deploy Distinctive Brand Assets (DBAs) at scale and how brand signals impact media performance, brand recall, and sales outcomes. One of the product’s first customers – Bayer – saw a 12.1% lift in Completed Video Views and 7.9% reduction in Cost per Completed Video View, through logo usage: a 6.2% increase in Completed Video Views and a 4.5% increase in cost per Completed Video View via Brand Color Usage and an 86.4% lift in Favorability, a 24.3% lift in Consideration and a 7.5% lift in Recall.
