That would rank as the network’s most-watched and highest-rated Christmas tripleheader ever, besting last year’s numbers by 5% in viewership and 6% in rating. Overall for the season, ESPN’s NBA viewership and ratings are now up 4% and 8%, respectively. ABC wasn’t as fortunate, drawing a 3.7 and 4.9 for its pair of games that day in overnight numbers, down 27% and 18% respectively, from 2012.

ESPN Digital Media accounted for 35% of all sports category usage across computers, smartphones and tablets in November, according to comScore Multi-Platform data. Per Nielsen, ESPN’s 17 Monday Night Football telecasts in 2013 averaged an 8.6 U.S. household rating, representing an average of 13.68 million total viewers.
