ADVERTISING
Over 100 execs convened Tuesday for a meeting arranged by Linda Yaccarino, head of ad sales and client partnerships at NBCUniversal. The topic: audience measurement. “We have a problem,” said Yaccarino, calling for change. “Everyone in this room can decide together what that change looks like. We all know the stakes have never been higher.” The goal? “A fair, equal and transparent market that holds all the platforms to the same collective standard.” As for NBCUni, said Yaccarino, that means weaning off of a single currency metric, making marketing more effective and improving the consumer experience. “We might even lower commercial loads across the board,” said the exec.
