Marketing campaigns have not completely rebounded from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, but the results of a survey by the World Federation of Advertisers are promising. “We are starting to see some green shoots of recovery with more than half our members no longer holding their campaigns back as a result of the pandemic,” said WFA CEO Stephan Loerke. Forty-four percent of account managers and brand managers believe their productivity has improved, but only 25% of senior leaders working remotely felt the same way. Fifty-six percent of external agency employees said they would prefer to work at the office full-time, versus 38% of in-house agency employees. While 30% of marketing professionals said they found creative work and collaboration on creative projects more difficult working from home, 31% said they found it easier. Forty-two percent of managers said communication with their teams actually improved while working remotely.
