“Days of Our Lives” star Robert Scott Wilson voiced support for Peacock after broadcast backlash. Wilson’s tweet came three days after New York City viewers missed the final scene of an episode after NBC News cut to King Charles III’s speech about his late mother. Wilson listed five reasons why the show’s switch from NBC to Peacock is “a very good thing” – including fewer commercials, the ability to pause, not having to set a DVR, the ability to watch previous episodes and not having to hear the words, “We interrupt this program to bring you a special news report.”
