The switch to full-time crime programming is paying off for Oxygen. In 2017 to date, Oxygen is the fastest growing cable entertainment network among total viewers in total day, up +53% year over year, according to the network. Cold Justice, from executive producer Dick Wolf, was the most-watched Oxygen true crime series premiere in more than four years, with three consecutive weeks of ratings growth since its July 22 premiere, averaging 580,000 total viewers in Live +3.
The August 9 ep of TV Land’s Younger delivered the highest ratings in series history in Live +3 across all key demos, including a .92 in A25-54, a 1.43 with W25-54, a .77 with A18-49, and a 1.23 with W18-49. Younger’s Facebook Live aftershow, Getting Younger, also continues to grow, with last Wednesday night’s ep garnering 257,000 video views.
Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ inaugural Garage Sale Mystery Month is in full swing. The most recent original movie, Garage Sale Mystery: Murder by Text became the net’s highest-rated and most-watched telecast in Live + Same Day among Households (2.0 rating) and Total Viewers (1.6 million). The newest addition to the franchise also became the most-watched Garage Sale Mystery premiere among HH and all key demographics in network history.
During the week of August 7, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live shot up over the prior week by 20% in Total Viewers, drawing its largest audience in eight weeks.
HBO’s Game of Thrones scored more ratings highs Sunday night. The third-to-last episode of season 7 drew 10.72 million viewers
In syndication, ET (2.7, up 4%) was the sole magazine to move up in the first week of August; Dr Phil (2.8, up 17% from last year) saw the most annual growth among the top 10 and led talkers for the 48th week in a row; Family Feud (6.2, up 2%) rolled over Wheel of Fortune (5.4, down 2%) and fellow game shows for a 67th consecutive week; and Judge Judy, despite being completely in reruns, tied Feud at the top and ranks as syndication’s No. 1 show overall for a ninth straight week (with two ties).

EXECUTIVE MOVES
Yan-Jong Wong has been appointed sales director, Asia, for Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution. Wong previously was VP, English content channels, at Sony Pictures Entertainment Networks, Asia.
Sony Pictures TV Studios is adding to its exec ranks. Former SyFy head of development Andrew Plotkin is in as SVP of drama development. Plotkin steps in after the recent promotion of Lauren Stein to EVP of drama development and head of the department; they succeeded Chris Parnell and Jason Clodfelter, elevated to co-presidents of SPTS.
Chris Castallo, former alternative programming chief at CBS, is exiting for Verizon as head of development for its go90 service.
Monumental Sports & Entertainment hired Grant Paranjape as its new director of Esports business and team operations. Paranjape comes to MSE from Splyce Inc.
The Advertising Research Foundation named Paul Donato as chief research officer. Donato was EVP and chief research officer for The Nielsen Company for more than a decade, and most recently founded Jatopond, a media and market research firm.
Herring Networks Inc., parent of national cable networks One America News and A Wealth of Entertainment, announced Bruce Littman joined the company as the networks’ EVP of content distribution. Littman has worked at Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, MSG Networks, USA Network, FX and Showtime.
Rogers & Cowan announced SVP Craig Greiwe will head its R&C Digital Group, with Lauren Jones and Nicole Wool serving as VPs once the Jones Social and Windsor McKenna acquisitions are folded into the division.
Media firm Target Data hired Edward Yeh as VP of technology. Yeh has served as director of data services for Fox Interactive Media.
