The staff of MSNBC voted to form a union with WGA East. The move marks the first such successful drive in cable news, resulting in a bargaining unit that comprises writers, producers, fact checkers and planners across MSBNC’s shows, as well as workers at The Choice on Peacock. Spike Lee is re-editing the fourth and final episode of his “NYC Epicenters: 9/11-2021½” docuseries on HBO. The original version of the ep featured interviews with 9/11 truthers and members of the conspiracy group Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth. Lee’s decision to re-examine it comes after he said in an interview with the New York Times that he still “had questions” about what happened on 9/11.

Also at HBO, the network is bidding “Betty” farewell. The network canceled the Crystal Moselle series about a diverse group of young women navigating the predominantly male-oriented world of skateboarding.
