|Two-thirds of respondents to the Nielsen Remote Workers Consumer Survey are now working from home, and have largely found that their “new normal” has allowed them to strike a better work/life balance, with 73% reporting that working from home has given them more freedom and flexibility. Fifty-two percent of work-from-home employees think they should have the ability to do so moving forward, and 80% said they’d prefer to work for a company that gives the freedom to work remotely from a location of their choosing, regardless of where their office is.
