Suzanne Heathcote will serve as new lead writer for the series. “We’re renewing Killing Eve right out of the gate, now with Suzanne Heathcote as lead writer, as a sign of confidence – we adore this show as much as our fans do,” said Barnett.
More news at the summit included an order for a third spinoff of AMC’s The Walking Dead, run by TWD’s Matt Negrete and co-created by chief content officer Scott M. Gimple. “We’re thrilled that the Dead will keep walking into a new corner of the post-apocalyptic world, a corner that will present stories and characters unlike any that The Walking Dead has dramatized thus far, and that is bound to excite one of the most passionate fanbases in television,” said David Madden, president of programming for AMC Networks and AMC Studios.

The “micro-net” will be the exclusive U.S. television home to the Planet Earth Collection and the next installments of BBC landmark natural history series including Frozen Planet II and Planet Earth III.
