When it comes to bringing home Emmy, are the odds for Shameless better in the comedy category? That’s what Showtime‘s surely hoping, submitting the hour-long dramedy for 2014 consideration as a comedy, after three years in the drama pool. The Television Academy approved the request, from exec producer John Wells. Since its premiere in 2011, Shameless’ three Emmy noms have all gone to Joan Cusack, for outstanding guest actress. Show airs Sundays at 9p.

Viacom International Media Networks shared the results of a study focused on Millennials and according to "MTV Knowing Youth: 2020 Vision," they see the world as more competitive and less secure – but are excited about the future nonetheless. 84 percent said their generation has the potential to make the world a better place, and most describe themselves as "very happy." "We’ve talked to more than 60,000 Millennials over the past year all over the world about all aspects of their lives and know this audience better than anyone else," said Christian Kurz, Viacom VP of research, insights and reporting. "It allows us to keep our finger on the pulse and our MTV brand as fresh and evolving as possible."

The contracts of Grey’s Anatomy series regulars Tessa Ferrer and Gaius Charles, who joined the medical drama last season, were not picked up for season eleven, Deadline was first to report. Season ten of Grey’s airs Thursdays at 9p.

CBS‘s CSI: Crime Scene Investigation is losing Captain Jim Brass. Original cast member Paul Guilfoyle is leaving at the end this season, said the Hollywood Reporter; season fourteen finale airs Wednesday, May 7 at 10p.

MTV‘s Are You the One? was picked up for a second go-round by MTV. Season one of the hit dating show, the number one original series across TV in its time slot among A12-34, ended Tuesday, March 25 at 11p; a reunion special airs in the slot April 1 that the net promises will include "stunning feuds that have surfaced since filming wrapped, and a shocking proposal."
