Discovery series Wheeler Dealers is getting a spin-off, eight-part Wheeler Dealers: Dream Car. Hosted by Mike Brewer, the show will air on the Discovery Channel in a number of international markets, including the UK, Netherlands, South Africa and France, as well as on the MotorTrend App and MotorTrend TV in the U.S.
Christopher Lemole and Tim Zajaros, founders of Armory Films, are teaming with Knightfall co-creator Don Handfield on The Dark Age, according to Deadline. The sci-fi story will be published as a comic book series by Red 5 Comics before its developed into a television project.
NEW & RETURNING SERIES
Fox revealed its summer plans. So You Think You Can Dance returns for its 16th season on Monday, June 10 at 9p; MasterChef is back for Season 10 on Wednesday, May 29 at 8p and will air twice a week; Beat Shazam bows Monday, May 20 at 8p; and new high-stakes game show Spin the Wheel premieres Thursday, June 20
Aerial America is expanding across the pond with the debut of Aerial Britain on Sunday, April 28 at 8p. The newest installment from Smithsonian Channel takes viewers on a journey to four regions of Britain.
Tex-Mex comes to Tuesdays with Texicanas, premiering May 7 at 10p on Bravo. Series follows a group of San Antonio sophisticates as they try to balance their social lives and the demands of raising a family.
Southern Charm returns to Bravo on Wednesday, May 15 at 8p. Naomie Olindo and Eliza Limehouse join as new cast members.
The Cody crime family returns for Season 4 of Animal Kingdom on Tuesday, May 28 at 9p on TNT, with Emily Deschanel onboard in a recurring role.
COMING UP
The 2019 American Music Awards will be broadcast live from LA on Sunday, November 24 at 8p on ABC.

MEASUREMENT
Data analytics company 605 announced its national dataset now includes more than 20 million households across 210 designated market areas. The move strengthens 605’s vast national dataset by adding data from Inscape, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vizio, to supplement its set-top-box viewership data. “From a historical standpoint, sample sizes within the industry have been small and consumer behavior is constantly changing, creating a void in measurement that is large and growing,” said Colleen Moraghan, SVP, Data Solutions at 605. “By expanding our viewing data with Inscape, 605 now has a combined set-top-box and ACR-based viewing dataset that few can rival.”
Geopath announced the establishment of a Futures Council to help advance the OOH industry. The council, comprised of emerging though leaders from the OOH industry and selected by Geopath’s Board of Directors, will act as ambassadors for Geopath, advocating for enhanced measurement and the OOH industry in general.
Nielsen was granted accreditation by the Media Rating Council for its Television Audience Measurement service in 28 cities, offered in Mexico through its joint venture Nielsen IBOPE. It’s the first MRC accreditation granted to a TAM service outside the U.S. and the first international market for Nielsen Global Media.
“Social media maps help us visualize the patterns of connection that form when people follow, reply and mention one another in internet communication services like Twitter,” says Michael Lieberman, Founder, Multivariate Solutions. Although consumers are very concerned about their privacy on social networks, few are willing to pay to secure their personal information, according to the findings of Norton Lifelock’s latest Cyber Safety Insights Report. Among more than 1,000 U.S. adults, 72% admitted they were more alarmed than every about their privacy, while 93% believe it’s important companies and organizations provide them with a degree of control over their personal information. However, the majority of those surveyed weren’t willing to pay organizations to ensure protection of their personal information. That’s especially true when it came to social media providers like Facebook. In fact, 72% of consumers said they were unwilling to pay social networks to ensure their personal information protection.
A new feature will alert Google Chrome smartphone users when a website is trying to access and collect data transmitted from sensors inside the phone. A pop-up will let users know each time a site tries to access one of their device settings, providing the option to turn it off or block it.
Facebook is tightening its rules, banning “praise, support and representation of white nationalism and separatism” on both Facebook and Instagram. “Going forward, while people will still be able to demonstrate pride in their ethnic heritage, we will not tolerate praise or support for white nationalism and separatism,” the company announced in a blog post. The new rules will be enforced, next week.
Wall Street really likes them: In a new filing, Lyft said it plans to charge $70-$72 per share in its IPO Friday; a prospectus filed last week said shares would sell for between $62-$68. The company expects to sell 30.7 million shares.
Magic Leap’s $2,295 AR headset will go on sale at flagship A&T stores in Boston, Chicago and San Francisco next week. In-store demos will feature a Game of Thrones experience built with HBO.
