Univision received a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign’s 2021 Corporate Equality Index, and was named a “Best Place to Work” for LGBTQ persons. Former Discovery Channel sales executive Ched Raymundo joined The Nacelle Co. as SVP acquisitions & strategy.

Canada’s Cream Productions, the company behind Netflix’s “Age of Samurai: Battle for Japan” and CNN’s “The Story of Late Night,” elevated several executives. Patrick Cameron rises to SVP, operations; Shawn Gerrard is promoted to head of post production; and Matt MacLellan and Francine DiBacco have been upped to supervising line producers.

Digital media firm Quartz appointed Daniel Alvarez as chief product officer. Alvarez joins from NBC Universal, where he served as VP of product and design for local NBC and Telemundo TV stations.

David Levy has joined Genius Sports Group, as it prepares for its scheduled public listing, as Chairman. Levy was formerly President of Turner. “Being able to attract a chairman with David’s unrivaled reputation is a testament to our position as one of the largest sports data and technology companies in the world,” said Mark Locke, CEO of Genius Sports. “I’m thrilled to be working alongside one of sports and media’s true visionaries.”

“I am excited about life after Disney,” says Executive Chairman Bob Iger, who is leaving the company in December after 47 years, during SiriusXM’s “Leadership Matters.” In an advance clip of the show, premiering April 6, Iger says of his exit, “I felt very strongly in moving on, and just seeing what was on the other side. It had nothing to do with being tired. It had nothing to do with frustration.”

Cineflix Media has appointed Tim Mutimer as CEO Rights. Mutimer has been EVP EMEA at Banijay Rights.

Beyond Productions UK has named Hamo Forsyth to the new role of creative director, factual. Forsyth’s most recent projects include showrunner/executive producer for Wall to Wall on Apple TV’s “Becoming You.”

Juliana Janes has been tapped to serve as VP of Development for Television at Bron Studios. Janes most recently led TV initiatives at Gulfstream Pictures.

Canadian production company Cream Productions announced four promotions: Patrick Cameron is to SVP of Operations; Shawn Gerrard to Head of Post-Production; and both Matt MacLellan and Francine DiBacco to Supervising Line Producers.

?TEGNA promoted Kristie Gonzales to VP, Media Operations. In addition to her current role as President and GM of KVUE in Austin, Gonzales will now also oversee KYTX in Tyler, Texas, and help set the vision for recruiting across TEGNA’s 11 Texas markets.

Animation studio ZAG appointed Angela Cortez to the position of VP, Consumer Products, Latin America. Cortez was most recently VP of the LATAM region for VIMN.
