TEGNA Inc. announced that Karen Grimes has been appointed to TEGNA’s Board of Directors as a new independent director. Grimes spent more than 20 years at Wellington Management Company, where she was a partner, senior managing director and equity portfolio manager until her retirement in 2018.
Vox Media has appointed John Legend to its board of directors. The EGOT winner will advise the company on its strategy for growth and new business opportunities.
Sarah Schecter has been promoted to the newly created position of Chairwoman and Partner of Berlanti Productions. Schecter had been President of the company for six years. She’’ll be replaced in that position by David Madden, former AMC Networks and Fox Broadcasting Company President, who will spearhead television operations.
QuickFrame named Joe Reid as COO. Reid was previously Chief Data Strategist at Salesforce.
Comcast promoted 20-year company veteran Jennifer Khoury to chief communications officer, overseeing its external and internal corporate communications. She succeeds D’Arcy Rudnay, who will retire at year’s end… Additionally, Adam Miller, was elevated to senior executive VP of Comcast Corp. along with his EVP position at NBCUniversal.
