Patrick Morris in a statement.
Not only do more US consumers report streaming (70%) than watching cable and satellite TV (56%), according to a new Harris poll, more report paying greater attention to streamed ads than those on traditional pay TV. The Multicultural Media & Correspondents Association, in collaboration with Missouri School of Journalism’s Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute, has announced a national effort to promote BIPOC media organizations as critical civic infrastructure. “BIPOC-led media organizations have historically been underinvested in, despite the incredible power and influence these outlets have across BIPOC communities,” said Paul Waters of Democracy Fund Voice. “A more equitable media landscape, with a diverse press reflecting the communities it reports on and for, is a necessary means to a thriving, informed society.”
The Casting Society of America has changed its name to Casting Society. “By removing America from our name, we are embracing how CSA has grown exponentially and globally in recent years,” said Casting Society President Kim Williams.
