Cancelled ABC daytime series All My Children and One Life to Live may be resurrected online by Prospect Park, the company that had planned to relaunch both series online following their cancellations by the network in 2011.  Reportedly Prospect Park has made a deal with SAG-AFTRA that could bring the series back online as soon as January.  Prospect Park is also apparently in talks with the DGA and the WGA.  Prospect Park is additionally in talks with actors from both All My Children and One Life to Live to return for the new online versions.  There is no word on which actors though may reprise their roles.

~ PRODUCTION & DEVELOPMENT ~

HGTV has plans to add a new real estate series to its 2013 lineup focused on how buyers can maximize their budgets and secure a good deal on a home.  Power Broker will premiere with eight episodes and is currently in production with Johlt Productions.  Real estate agent Mike Aubrey, who previously was in House Hunters and Real Estate Intervention, will host the series.

The Office’s Greg Daniels and his Deedle-Dee Productions company has sold a comedy about a tennis pro to FOX, reports THR.  The untitled single-camera comedy is about Richie, a mediocre tennis pro who returns to his college town in order to revitalize his life.  Universal Television is also producing.  Tom Gormican and Richie Keen will write the script and executive produce along with Daniels and his Deedle-Dee Productions; Deedle-Dee’s Howard Klein, Tracy Katsky and Oly Obst are also involved as EPs.

Production commenced earlier this month in Los Angeles on a new web comedy series Ghost Ghirls about two young female ghostbusters from Shine America and Jack Black’s Electric Dynamite Productions.  The series has 12 episodes and is slated to debut in Spring 2013 exclusively on Yahoo! Screen.  Black, Jake Johnson, Molly Shannon, Jason Schwartzman and many other celebrities will make cameo appearances in the scripted paranormal procedural.  Ghost Ghirls was created by Jeremy Konner and series stars Amanda Lund and Maria Blasucci, who also serve as executive producers.  Electric Dynamite’s Black and Priyanka Mattoo are executive producers.

HBO is teaming with filmmaker Martin Scorsese on a documentary about former President Bill Clinton.  Scorsese will produce and direct the telepic which is being made with President Clinton’s full cooperation.  The documentary will cover President Clinton’s perspectives on history, politics, culture and world from the time he was in office to the present.  Steve Bing will serve as producer.  This is Scorsese’s fourth collaboration with HBO.

Casting Call: A NYC-based production company is seeking accomplished and appealing home stagers for a docu-series in development.  If you or your company know how to turn a property into a sellable space and have the personality to capture an audience, the producer want to hear from you.  Please send your name, work bio/links to work, photos and other relevant info to: [email protected].
