Liberty Media’ DirecTV Group is now in talks with Time Warner’s TNT and TBS to provide its satellite TV customers with online access to the networks’ programming using an internet-based authorization system, per the AP. Time Warner Cable and Verizon’ FiOS service unveiled their own “TV Everywhere” trials late last week. Verizon’s system is already being tested with TBS and TNT programming in about 500 homes, enabling up to 5 programs to be streamed at once.
