Happy Birthday to the Lego Minifigure! To celebrate the grand event, Lego kicks off Go Miniman Go!, an effort to get kids (doubt they’d mind if adults joined in) to reconnect with the Lego adventures that starred their minifigures by going online (www.gominimango.com) where they’ll find contests, downloads, news blog, games, user generated content, videos and a store. Fans can also go to Gizmodo.com and to take part in a create their own Miniman video and photo contest, among other things. There is lots of other stuff too, like an iGoogle theme, minifigure-themed merchandise (e.g. t-shirts). Additional activities will be added throughout the year.
Coolabi has inked a deal with Ruby Hammer and Millie Kendall’s company Ruby & Millie, to develop a line of gift cosmetics and toiletries based on its new tween girl-targeted property, Scarlett & Crimson.
