The 12 episodes of Swampy’s Underground Adventures will launch weekly. MARKETING

The Pear Bureau Northwest and LazyTown are partnering for a promotion that will feature the kid-targeted, healthy lifestyle choice-centric series at grocery stores nationwide. The promotion is made possible by The Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) newly awarded specialty crop grant of $75,000 to the Pear Bureau Northwest to promote USA Pears. For the promotion, the Pear Bureau has developed custom point of sale materials, including floor signs, channel cards with tear-off recipe pads, and life-size standees for retail promotions. The partnership includes appearances by LazyTown’s main character, Sportacus, at select schools and retailers. Earlier this year Cartoon Network Enterprises signed on to serve as the licensing agent for the LazyTown brand in the US, an extension of the acquisition of LazyTown by the Turner CN Enterprises division.
