~  PRODUCTION & DEVELOPMENT ~

Lifetime Networks is collaborating with Starz Media to co-produce three Lifetime Original Movies all slated to premiere next year. Starz Media will distribute the titles worldwide, including home entertainment through Anchor Bay Entertainment. The movies include: True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet starring JoJo and Valerie Bertinelli; Queen Sized starring Nikki Blonsky with a specific premiere date set for January 5 at 9p; and Wisegal with Alyssa Milano and Jason Gedrick.

SCI FI Channel is currently developing a 90-minute dramedy pilot, Earthlings with Dan Waters as writer and executive producer. Aaron Geller will executive produce and Darryl Porter will be co-executive producer, under their PorterGeller Entertainment first-look agreement with FOX Television Studios. The plot is about three aliens in human form, stranded in present-day middle America.

Joining the cast of NBC‘s Lipstick Jungle later on this season will be Paul Blackthorne.  The drama about three powerful and professional women stars Brooke Shields, Lindsay Price and Kim Raver; Blackthorne plays Shields’ husband.

Jon Robin Baitz, one of the executive producers of ABC’s Brothers & Sisters, has signed a development deal with ABC which will keep him on his Sunday night program job, as well as begin to develop new projects over the next two years, reports Variety.

Casting Call: ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live and Sierra Mist want funny college students to participate in the Jimmy Kimmel Live College Comedy Championship. Jimmy Kimmel Live and Sierra Mist will be on the road visiting 15 U.S. college campuses and conducting an online search to find the funniest college student. Students can enter the contest now through November 15. Rules and more information can be found at: www.kimmelcollegecomedy.com.
