This summer, TNT will debut a new branded microseries Lucky Chance with 20 two-minute episodes presented by Dodge and AT&T. The series, jointly developed and produced by Full Circle Entertainment and Espionage, is about an undercover DEA agent, Lucky Chance who tries to clear his name after being framed for a crime he didn’t commit. Lucky Chance will premiere July 22 and air all 20 episodes in a two-week period within the dramas Bones and Law & Order in primetime.

TLC waltzes in with a new competition series as Master of Dance premieres June 8 at 9p, with six episodes airing on three consecutive Sunday nights. Hosted by Joey Lawrence, dancers will be tested on their full dance repertoire when songs change mid-performance, forcing contestants to change rhythms and dance styles. A panel of professional dance industry judges will critique each performance with the winning dancer taking home a grand prize of $50,000. The series is executive produced by Craig Piligian of Pilgrim Films & Television.

VH1 acquired the full library of ABC’s The Bachelor from Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution and will begin airing the more than 130 total hours of the reality dating series the first week of June. ABC debuted the show in March 2002 and recently signed on for a 13th edition for the 2008-2009 season.

Outdoor Channel will not renew a package of ten Intermedia shows for the 2008-2009 season, opting instead to upgrade its programming by adding several new shows to its lineup including Bill Dance Saltwater, Fly Fishing the World, Savage Wild, Monster Fish, The Catch, Gore-Tex Outdoor Adventures and Primos TRUTH about Whitetail. In addition, Outdoor Channel has become the official home for shows on behalf of conservation organizations such as Safari Club International, Pheasants Forever and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.

CNET is no longer the darling of Silicon Valley, but its strong brand equity in technology and collective 200 million worldwide unique users will make CBS Interactive a top 10 destination in terms of traffic and give it lots of gadget and gaming synergies to play with. The CNET sites, including CNET, ZDNet, GameSpot.com, TV.com, mp3.com and CNET news.com, will be combined with CBS’s national and local interactive businesses, informing news portals (CBSNews.com, CBS Television Station Interactive properties,) affiliate sites (the CBS Audience Network) and recent web 2.0 acquisitions (last.fm, Wallstrip.) And the two companies should find it easier to merge than other seemingly unlike entities. CBS Interactive President Quincy Smith consulted for with CNET when he worked for the investment bank Allen & Co.  Full edition: CYN DIGITAL.
