Meta is expanding third party verification for Threads, with verification from Integral Ad Science, DoubleVerify, and Scope3. “Our Meta Business Partners each offer AI-enabled solutions to report the context in which ads appear, giving advertisers the transparency they need to drive results on Threads feed with confidence,” said Meta in a blog post. “These partners independently score the adjacent content, aligned with the brand safety floor and suitability framework, providing reporting that may include safety and suitability scores, content examples and associated risk levels, and impression-level data.”
Instagram introduced new safety features for teens interacting with AI chatbots. Set to roll out early next year, the updates address mental health concerns by giving parents greater oversight of how teens engage with AI characters, including options to block specific conversations. “We hope today’s updates bring parents some peace of mind that their teens can make the most of all the benefits AI offers, with the right guardrails and oversight in place,” said the company in a blog post signed by Adam Mosseri, the head of Instagram, and Alexandr Wang, chief AI officer of Meta.
Walmart Connect secured its first accreditation from the Media Rating Council for its first party click and impression metrics for Sponsored Search across desktop, mobile web, and mobile in-app devices for Display, Video and Search. In a blog post, the company said it is also expanding its full-funnel measurement suite. “In a fragmented media landscape, we know brands have an overwhelming number of options when it comes to where they spend their ad dollars,” said the post. “That’s why we’re proud to not only earn this recognition from the MRC, but to give our advertisers another assurance of trust, transparency, and accountability.”
