Sixty-six percent of consumers would likely switch to a bundle from one provider for not only streaming TV services but also home security, fitness, smart home, music, and other subscription services, according to Horowitz report, “State of Media. Entertainment & Tech: Subscriptions 2025.” Interest in bundling all digital services and apps is highest among families with children in the home (76%), younger consumers (75% of 18–34-year-olds and 71% of consumers ages 35-49), and streamers (71%).
Zeam Media announced a new distribution deal with LG that will put its streaming platform on LG smart TVs. “This launch furthers Zeam’s mission to connect broadcasters, creators, and viewers on the screens people watch most,” said Jack Perry, CEO of Zeam Media. “Zeam on LG marks a major step in broadening distribution for our platform and highlights our commitment to democratizing access to media – whether from a small-town broadcaster or an emerging content creator.”
Family Entertainment Television has officially moved to a four-day work week. The move allows FETV staff to work 32 hours per week, rather than 40, with no change in total compensation or benefits. “The time has come to make a better work/life balance a reality for our people, and I believe this is a massive step forward,” said Drew Sumrall, CEO of Family Entertainment Television. “This is a solution that no one had asked for, but the response has been overwhelming, both internally as well as outside our organization. Moving forward, our ability to problem-solve will exponentially increase as we retain and attract the finest talent with this unmatched benefit.”
Out of home advertising outperforms CTV and digital channels in key metrics such as ad awareness, brand favorability, and purchase intent, according to an analysis from Clear Channel Outdoor and Kantar. According to benchmarks from Kantar, OOH matches linear TV in driving favorability and purchase intent. Additional key findings from the study include:
· Out-of-Home delivers superior brand lifts compared to digital and significantly outperforms digital media in all measured metrics.
· OOH delivers higher brand awareness and engagement compared to digital media and holds its own against TV.
· OOH stands out with a 13.3% increase in Ad Awareness compared to digital media, TV and CTV.

IAB released its “2025 Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) Measurement Guide,” aimed at bringing clarity to the DOOH landscape. Topics include data collection, ad delivery and measurement. “To maximize DOOH’s role in an omnichannel strategy, cross-channel integration is critical, allowing advertisers to measure it alongside TV, digital, and social media,” notes the guide. “At the same time, privacy and compliance must remain a priority, ensuring adherence to regulations while leveraging data responsibly. Finally, emerging trends and innovations, including AI, blockchain, and 5G, are shaping the future of DOOH, making measurement more precise and impactful.” |

Apple TV+ is moving fast on “Slow Horses.” The spy thriller series starring Gary Oldman was renewed for a seventh season ahead of the September 24 premiere of season five. “’Slow Horses’ has won fans all over the world with its unique mix of self-deprecating British humor and high-octane action,” said Jay Hunt, Creative Director, Europe, Apple TV+. “I’m delighted viewers will have another season to enjoy Gary’s magnificent performance as Jackson Lamb alongside the Slow Horses’ slightly inept spycraft.”
Season 11 of “Grantchester” will be its last. The Big East and ESPN struck a six-year digital rights deal that gives “all 22 of our sports — especially women’s basketball and Olympic sports — the visibility they’ve earned and the access our fans expect,” said Big East Commissioner Val Ackerman. ESPN had rights to the Big East from 1980 to 2013. ESPN+ will stream over 300 Big East events annually.
FOX Nation has jumped into the live sports arena, becoming the exclusive Friday night broadcast partner for the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Camping World Team Series. “PBR Friday Live” kicks off Friday, August 8 and continues weekly through the fall.
