The nail-biter was 155% more effective than the average primetime program (42% year-over-year increase), according to calculations from EDO – advertisers would need to place about 82 primetime ads to generate as much engagement as one ad in the March Madness Championship game. The NCAA Women’s Championship was a winner, too, says EDO, with 57% of viewers more likely to engage with advertisers than the primetime average (+35% year-over-year). |
Greta Van Susteren has signed a multi-year extension to host Newsmax’s “The Record with Greta Van Susteren.” Van Susteren, who has hosted shows on CNN, Fox News and MSNBC, joined Newsmax in June 2022.
Fox News Media has signed radio host Hugh Hewitt as a contributor. Hewitt will provide analysis across all platforms. A lawyer, law professor and journalist, he was formerly a contributing columnist for The Washington Post and is now a columnist for the Washington Examiner. |

Adventure drama “Nautilus” premieres Sunday, June 29 at 9p on AMC with two episodes. The 10-parter stars Shazad Latif (“Black Mirror”) as Captain Nemo, an Indian Prince robbed of his birthright and family, and bent on revenge.
“Changing Planet” returns for a fourth year, this time exploring ongoing restoration projects on Northern California’s Klamath and the Seine in Paris. “Changing Planet: River Restoration” premieres Wednesday, April 23 at 10p on PBS (check local listings).
Israeli series “Bad Boy” lands on Netflix on Friday, May 2. The drama follows a boy who goes from a juvenile detention facility to stardom as a comedian, with his past threatening to ruin his life. |
