Fox’s A Christmas Story Live! delivered 4.5 million viewers on Sunday, the lowest ever for a live broadcast musical (though did air opposite an NFL game). That’s down from 12.2 million for last year’s Grease Live! on Fox, and 9.1 million for NBC’s Hairspray Live!.

EXECUTIVE MOVES
Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer has restructured its Worldwide Television Distribution team for greater efficiencies. As part of the reorg, Paul Bischoff has been promoted to Executive Vice President, International Television Distribution-EMEA. In addition, Charlie Farmer and Alex Peschak, both based in MGM’s London office, will take on new roles. Farmer has been elevated to Senior Vice President and Managing Director, UK, China and European Co-Productions, while Peschak has been upped to Senior Vice President, International Television Distribution, EMEA.
Global production company CMJ Productions has opened new offices in Toronto and Los Angeles, and appointed Nicole Hamilton as Head of Development (Toronto) and Lucie Jourdan as Executive Producer/West Coast. Hamilton, replacing Lesley Jacobi, who is on a one-year maternity leave, was most recently VP of Development at Peace Point. Prior to joining CMJ, Jourdan was SVP Development for M2 Pictures.
