NEW PROGRAMMING + DEALS

 
Endemol Beyond USA will launch the original series The #Muthaship, starring Emmy winner Drea de Matteo (Sons of Anarchy), on Dec. 1. In the series, which premieres on Endemol’s BEYONDreality channel on YouTube, viewers will be introduced to the entertaining characters of de Matteo’s unconventional family. Original episodes will post every Monday on the channel.
 
Maker Studios signed five toy-review channels on YouTube to the Disney multi-channel network yesterday. The channels – DisneyCarToys (140 million monthly views) HobbyKidsTV (58 million monthly views), TheEngineeringFamily (60 million monthly views), ToysReviewToys (30 million monthly views), and AllToyCollector (20 million monthly views) – are all listed in the global top 40 toy channels.
 
Recently cancelled ABC series Selfie was picked up by Hulu for its remaining six episodes. The streaming service will not create any more eps (the series is still cancelled), but the last unaired eps will debut every week. Selfie starred Karen Gillian and John Cho, and averaged 4.7 million viewers, 1.5 rating among adults 18-49.
 
BET Networks debuted the new web series #BLX, a 20-part documentary series presented by Toyota that looks at the places celebrities grew up before they made their claim to fame. In the first episode, #BLX follows Mack Wilds giving a tour in his childhood hometown of Staten Island. Fans will find bonus content on their preferred digital platform, and can share posts, photos, videos and stories of their own experiences with the hashtag #myBLX; select users’ content to be featured on future eps.
 
Vimeo
announced Vuguru and Emmy-winning NASCAR Productions’ documentary NASCAR: FasTracked is now available on Vimeo on Demand. The film follows seventeen-year-old NASCAR driver Dylan Kwasniewski as he attempts to secure the K&N East championship back to back with his recent K&N Pro Series West Championship.

The newest Animal Planet L!VE live streaming cams debuted its new Reindeer Cam in time for the holiday season. The APL 24-hour stream will feature reindeer at the St. Paul, Minnesota Como Zoo, with Santa planning to visit on Dec. 19, 22 and 23. The cams can be viewed at APL.TV, Xbox, Roku, Smartsung Smart TVs and desktop and mobile devices.

Along with Xfinity’s Lounge for concert guests, Radio One created a vignette and other custom content around the Toyota Camry’s “Bold” theme to air online and on TV during the special. Comcast will stream the event on CelebrateBlackTV.com on Nov. 29, with the program available to Xfinity cable customers for 30 days following the premiere.
