420TV greenlit In Amsterdam. Hosted by Veronica van Hoogdalem, the series takes viewers to Amsterdam for an insider’s look at its cannabis culture.
 
The Ink Factory, BBC One and AMC, who previously teamed on miniseries The Night Manager, are joining forces again for another John le Carre adaptation, The Little Drummer Girl. The espionage thriller will star Florence Pugh. Production starts in January.
 
NBC is developing Relative Justice, from Barbara Curry (The Boy Next Door), Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald. The legal procedural touches on the red hot theme of sexual harassment. Universal TV, where the Parkes+MacDonald Image Nation banner has a first look deal, is the studio.

Discovery Channel’s Cash Cab, the in-transit trivia game show, returns Monday, December 4 at 10p. Ben Bailey is back as host and driver.
 
Food stars and chefs continue to share their favorite all-time meals on The Best Thing I Ever Ate, when the series returns for another season on Monday, December 11 at 8p.
 
Investigation Discovery premieres Village of the Damned on Tuesday, November 28 at 10p. The five-part serialized event chronicles a strange string of tragedies that befell the quaint New York town of Dryden.
 
 
COMING UP
 
TLC is prepping a Trading Spaces reunion, featuring the original cast of the home design show, to be hosted by Lisa Joyner. The special precedes the popular series’ return to television. Both will air in spring 2018.
 
As part of its third annual “Most Wonderful Month of the Year” celebration and in honor of the 50th anniversary of its original broadcast, getTV presents Christmas with the King Family on Wednesday, November 29 at 10p.
 
Hallmark Channel, home of the “Countdown to Christmas” programming event, is setting up a Museum of Christmas in New York’s trendy Meatpacking District. Designed to bring the spirit of the season to life, activities include red and white striped Peppermint Tire Swings, an Infinity Christmas Lights Room and more. Located at 459 W. 14th Street, it will be open to the public from November 15 to 19.
 
PBS series Independent Lens premieres Supergirl on Monday, December 18 at 10. (Check local listings.) The documentary focuses on teenager Naomi Kutin, an Orthodox Jewish powerlifter from New Jersey who is breaking records and barriers.

WE tv re-upped an exclusive distribution agreement with Off the Fence. The deal was renewed for an additional distribution cycle and will expire in March 2019. Wetv and Off the Fence have been partners since 2008.

Josh Grobin nabbed the co-lead in Netflix’s father-son dramedy crime procedural The Good Cop opposite Tony Danza. It’s the first major TV role for the singer/songwriter/actor.
 
Rowena King (Of Kings and Prophets) landed a co-starring role in Dietland, AMC’s dark comedic drama set to premiere in 2018… Laura Mennell (Watchmen, The Man in the High Castle) was cast as the female lead in History drama, Blue BookWilla Fitzgerald (Scream) will lead E! pilot #Fashionvictim, an hourlong dark comedy… Matt Borlenghi is set to play Kyle, the pawn shop owner, in YouTube Red’s Karate Kid spinoff, Cobra Kai…   
 
 
DIGITAL DOINGS
 
Steven Soderbergh’s HBO limited series Mosaic, which doesn’t air until Monday, January 22, has already launched a free app that lets viewers build their own storylines from material created by Soderbergh and writer Ed Solomon. The free download is available for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, with a free Android app coming soon.
 
Brooklyn.Blue.Sky is coming to BET Networks. The series, which explores the complexities of modern-day romantic and platonic relationships, premieres on BET.com on Tuesday, November 21.
 
Netflix ordered a third season of Top Boy. The drama, set to return in 2019, chronicles two drug dealers at an east London housing estate. The net also commissioned The Last Czars. The big-budget historical drama from Jane Root’s Nutopia, details the fall of the Romanov dynasty in Russia.
 
Amazon greenlit superhero drama The Boys. It’s based on the comic book by Garth Ennis (Preacher) and Darick Robertson, and was created by Supernatural creator and Timeless co-creator Eric Kripke. Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen will direct.
 
Sounds of Freedom debuts on Amazon Prime and at the NYC Web Fest just in time for Veterans Day. The Whidbey Island produced series centers on Julia, a servicewoman from the Iraq war, and Vietnam veteran Charlie, who both suffer from PTSD.
 
Season One of If You Give A Mouse A Cookie is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
 
Wondery, creators of popular podcast Dirty John, unveiled Young Charlie, which currently sits at number one on Apple Podcasts. It offers a humanizing look at the transformation of Charles Manson from unhinged youth to mass murder.

Monday night’s season four premiere of Telemundo’s Senora Acero, La Coyote ranked as the #1 broadcast program in its time slot, in English or Spanish, among A18-34, according to Nielsen. The show was the top Spanish-language program at 10p, averaging 1,777,000 total viewers, 974,000 A18-49 and 510,000 A18-34, outperforming Univision by +22%, +53% and +73%, respectively.
 
Bravo’s Don’t Be Tardy hit a season high among P25-54, earning 536,000 P18-49, 665,000 P25-54 (up +10%), and 1.2 million Total Viewers (up +6%).  Shahs of Sunset Reunion 2 delivered a second consecutive season high among Total Viewers, garnering 919,000 P18-49, 1.1 million P25-54, and 1.9 million Total Viewers.
 
Fox Business Network (FBN) continued its winning streak over CNBC during business news week, October 30 to November 3, according to Nielsen Media Research. Following the release of the proposed GOP tax plan details and the nomination of new Federal Reserve chairman Jordan Powell, FBN’s Business Day coverage saw a 21% advantage over CNBC with 222,000 Total Viewers compared to CNBC’s 183,000 for the week. FBN’s Total Day coverage averaged 160,000 Total Viewers compared to CNBC’s 159,000, marking the net’s third straight weekly win. For the 63rd consecutive week, Lou Dobbs Tonight was the top-rated business program in the 25-54 demo with 42,000 Total Viewers.
 
FOX’s The Orville delivered its most watched episode since moving to Thursday night with 8.3 million viewers, up +100% vs. Live+SD and +8% vs. its prior original episode.
 
Tuesday’s Season 5 premiere of History’s The Curse of Oak Island delivered 2.9 million Total Viewers (+11% vs/ the Season 4 premiere) and saw significant gains in key demos, including 1.3 million A25-54 (+18% vs/ the Season 4 premiere) and 1.0 million A18-49 (+9%).
