NIKE opens its newest Nike House of Innovation today as Nike NYC: a 68,000 sq. ft., six-level, cross-category premium Nike store and “representing the best of Nike global product, experiences and sport innovation.” The venue will engage consumers with best-in-class digital and physical services combined with premium products, experiences and features to create a new benchmark for Nike retail. Floors include the new Nike Speed Shop, the Nike Sneaker Bar, Nike Expert Studio. Meanwhile, new and expanded Nike App in-store features like Nike Shop the Look, Nike Instant Checkout and updated functionalities with Nike Scan to Try will offer more choice for consumers to instantly shop in-store displays, checkout in-store or request to try-on items throughout the store.
The Harlem Globetrotters and Champion Athleticwear signed on for a global partnership that makes Champion the Official Uniform and Apparel Provider of the Globetrotters. The deal will include a new, re-imagined Globetrotters uniform beginning with the tip-off of the team’s 2018-19 Fan Powered Tour of North America this month. Champion will outfit the Globetrotters with all of their on-court and travel apparel, which includes player uniform, warm-ups, t-shirts, jackets, pants, hoodies, jerseys, shorts and socks. The deal also provides Champion with the opportunity to sell official Globetrotter apparel in their existing stores and retailers worldwide.
Integrated Sports Media signed an exclusive agreement to distribute DAZN programming to commercial establishments in the US. ISM will be responsible for distributing DAZN programming in the U.S. to bars, restaurants, casinos and sports books. “We’re thrilled to distribute DAZN programming in the U.S. market and help grow its reach across the country,” ISM president Doug Jacobs said. “We have a signed deal to distribute DAZN’s world-class combat sports programming like Golden Boy Promotions, Bellator MMA and Matchroom Boxing.”
The Players’ Tribune partnered with John Hancock and CBS Sports Digital for a new video series, titled The Long Game. The series sees NFL rookies Phillip Lindsay, Dante Pettis, James Washington, Saquon Barkley, Calvin Ridley, and Sony Michel discuss about their passions off the field and stress the importance of thoughtfully planning for retirement. Episodes will live on TPT, John Hancock, CBS Sports OOO and social channels.

Williams joins Jordan Brand from The Coca-Cola Co., where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, The Coca-Cola Co. and President of The McDonald’s Division Worldwide and was responsible for growing brands and beverages categories.
