Major League Soccer locked in a multi-year sponsorship deal with Excelsior Wines with the deal seeing, Trivento, Excelsior Wine’s top-selling wine brand from Argentina, becoming the Official Wine of Major League Soccer. The sponsorship kicks in on Jan. 1 and runs through 2020. All four ranges in the Trivento line-up – Trivento Reserve varietal wines, Amado Sur blends, Golden Reserve Malbec and Eolo Malbec – are included in the partnership with new MLS-branded packaging for the Trivento Reserve label and access to MLS regular and post-season matches included in the agreement.
Speaking of soccer, UEFA announced the extension of Nissan’s partnership of the UEFA Champions League for the 2018-21 cycle. The agreement also includes the UEFA Super Cup in 2018, 2019 and 2020. “We are delighted to continue our partnership with Nissan after a very successful first cycle,” said Guy-Laurent Epstein, UEFA Events SA Marketing Director. “They have become an integral member of the sponsor family and have been invaluable for the promotion of the competition on a global level.
