Lionsgate TV hired Warner Bros. vet Chad Kennedy to oversee current series as Senior Vice President of Current Programming. “Chad’s experience working with critically acclaimed, fan-favorite series makes him the perfect fit for our existing team, which has done an incredible job of successfully shepherding all of Lionsgate’s series from conception to air,” said Chris Selak, EVP of TV.
Corus Entertainment has appointed Athena Georgaklis as Head of Development for Nelvana. Georgaklis has worked in Canadian broadcast and production for more than 19 years, most recently overseeing original productions for Corus Entertainment’s TELETOON network.
Fernando Gaston is joining NBC Universo as Vice President of Production and Development. He previously served as Senior Vice President of content for MTV/VH1/Comedy Central Latin America, under Viacom International Media Networks.
