CBS is "willing to talk" to Aereo about doing a paid content deal, said net CEO Les Moonves at Fortune’s annual technology conference Tuesday. Now that the Supreme Court has agreed with broadcasters, ruling that the antenna-based subscription service was violating their copyrights, Moonves said, "The door is still open" to making a deal, but added, "I don’t think their business model made sense unless they were getting content illegally and for free."

IN THE NEWS

Oxygen Media unveiled a new logo and a new tagline, "Very Real," part of its rebrand to attract "young, modern women." The effort includes green lights for comedic docu-series It Takes a Sister (wt, 495 Productions) and After Happily Ever After (wt, Screaming Flea Productions), along with three projects in development. "We are committed to increasing original programming with vibrant and bold shows that are in line with our new programming filter and target this underserved audience," said Frances Berwick, president, Bravo & Oxygen Media.

The ascendance of Latinos in the U.S. is having a cultural as well as a demographic impact, found TruthCo. in its new study, "The Future American Family: Latinos." Because their own families tend to be multiethnic, multigenerational and globally connected, Latinos accept a broader definition of family and are more permissive in what constitutes "family-friendly" content, says the report. "Deeply understanding this influential demographic is critical to the future success of cable, TV and digital brands," Linda Ong, president, TruthCo., tells Cynopsis. "As media companies create content and advertising that works across platforms, they must recognize, cultivate and communicate the power of this consumer."

ABC Entertainment President Paul Lee, who in January likened hit international format Rising Star to "a modern-day Colosseum," admitted to being "a little disappointed" with the show’s sluggish ratings start Stateside. "We wanted [the numbers] a little bit higher," said Lee at TCA, adding that going live off the bat, rather than starting as other singing competitions do with prepackaged episodes, "we sort of had to learn on the roll." That said, "I think they learned on the roll extremely well, and the episodes now are really high quality."

ABC is mostly sticking to the official premiere week to launch its offerings this fall. Of note: New drama Forever gets a two-day premiere, and Dancing with the Stars will go back to two nights of results shows, on Tuesday, September 16 and Tuesday, September 23. Here’s the rundown:
Monday, Sept. 15: Dancing with the Stars at 8p
Monday, Sept. 22: Forever (special preview) at 10p
Tuesday, Sept. 23: Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. at 9p, Forever at 10p
Wednesday, Sept. 24: The Middle at 8p, The Goldbergs at 8:30p, Modern Family at 9p, Black-ish at 9:30p, Nashville at 10p
Thursday, Sept. 25: Grey’s Anatomy at 8p, Scandal at 9p, How to Get Away with Murder at 10p
Friday, Sept. 26: Shark Tank at 8p, 20/20 at 10p
Sunday, Sept. 28: Once Upon a Time at 8p, Resurrection at 9p, Revenge at 10p
Tuesday, Sept. 30: Selfie at 8p, Manhattan Love Story at 8:30p
Friday, Oct. 3: Last Man Standing at 8p, Shark Tank (regular time period) at 9p
Sunday, Oct. 5: America’s Funniest Home Videos at 7p
Friday, Oct. 10: Cristela at 8:30p

That just might be Andie MacDowell, in character as Olivia from Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove, you see biking around Manhattan tomorrow-  or it might not. A "Cedar Cove Bike Brigade," made up of MacDowell and 70 lookalikes (complete with Mark Holden scarves), celebrate season two of the Hallmark Channel series by pedaling through the Big Apple, giving onlookers a chance to Tweet or Instagram them with #cedarcovetv for a chance to win a bike. "We wanted to create a fun and crowd-pleasing experience that would bring the spirit of the show and Olivia Lockhart to life on the streets of Manhattan," Susanne McAvoy, EVP, marketing, creative, and communications, Crown Media Family Networks tells Cynopsis. Season two of Cove premieres Saturday, July 19 at 8p.

Bravo greenlit three new reality series: Million Dollar Listing San Francisco from World of Wonder, the fourth addition to the real estate franchise; There Goes Motherhood, a Magical Elves series about a "high end mommy and me group" and Secrets & Wives, chronicling the exploits of a tight-knot group of ultra-wealthy friends and rivals, from Haymaker and Mike TV.

Terry McDonough (Breaking Bad) will direct the pilot for Syfy‘s The Expanse, a 10-ep "space opera" based on the book series.

GSN gave the green light to traveling game show The Line. "We have taken something most people dislike – waiting in line – and turned it into the most fun you have ever had," said Amy Introcaso-Davis, EVP programming and development. First stop: Nashville (premiere date TBA).

COMING UP

It’s a date: Bravo announced that its first original scripted series, Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce, will launch Tuesday, December 2 at 10p. The show about a self-help book author, starring Lisa Edelstein (House), was inspired by the Vicki Iovine best-sellers.

An animated episode of TV Land‘s Hot in Cleveland airs Wednesday, July 30 at 10p. The ladies, along with guest star Steven Tyler, go on "an animated romp through pop culture hits."

Esquire announced two new shows: six-part travel series Weekend Fix, premiering Wednesday, October 29 at 10p, and the television companion to Esquire magazine’s American Food Awards issue, Best Restaurants in America (wt), premiering in late October. Launch dates were also announced for My Friends Call Me Johnny (Wednesday, September 3 at 10p), Car Matchmaker (Tuesday, October 14 at 9p) and White Collar Brawlers (Tuesday, October 14 at 10p).

A&E‘s Wahlburgers returns Wednesday, August 13 at 10p. In season two, Mark heads to China. Jenny McCarthy (The View) is around to help her fiance, Donnie, stave off homesickness.
