Four weeks after an average 4.3 million viewers tuned into three-night event series The World Wars on History (Live + 7), H2 will premiere the show – and then some. RATINGS

ESPN‘s broadcast of the USA/Ghana soccer match Monday night averaged a 7.0 overnight rating, the highest ever for a men’s World Cup match on ESPN or ESPN2.

Ladies night: With The Bachelorette and Mistresses‘ one-two punch, ABC was first for the night among A18-34 and all key Women demos (W18-34/W18-49/W25-54). But Fox‘s MasterChef, up two tenths to 1.8/6, was tops in the A18-49 demo, while Bachelorette slipped a tenth to 1.7/5.

CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley was still in third place the week of June 9, but posted a 7 percent year-over-year gain, adding 400,000 viewers, according to Nielsen.

A week after beating Wheel of Fortune for the first time in almost ten years for the top game show slot, Jeopardy had to settle for a tie, matching Wheel’s 6.1 rating the week ending June 8.

Despite declining PUT levels and mostly repeat shows, top talker Dr. Phil held steady for the week with 2.8, up 12 percent versus last year. Ellen DeGeneres hit a season low 2.2.

Ten seasons in, and Food Network Star isn’t getting stale. Sunday night’s ep was the top rated ad-supported cable prime time program among A25-54 in upscale households (HHI $100+) and top ten in all key demos, reports the net. "Food Network Star continues to be a start-of-summer anchor for Sunday nights," Brooke Johnson, president, Food Network and Cooking Channel, tells Cynopsis. "Alton, Bobby and Giada are superstars who know exactly what it takes to break through and find success."

Adult Swim boasts it was the number one television network in primetime among A18-34 the week of June 9, and had the number one total day performance on basic cable across targeted demos (Adults and Men 18-24/18-34/18-49).
