EXECUTIVE MOVES
Marta Fernandez, formerly EVP of Original Programming with Starz, has been named President of MACRO Television Studios.
WarnerMedia appointed Molly Battin as Chief Corporate Marketing and Brand Strategy Officer. Battin was most recently EVP and Global Chief Communications and Corporate Marketing Officer for Turner. WarnerMedia also hired Jessie Henderson as EVP of Original Feature Films for its upcoming streaming service. Henderson comes from Feigco Entertainment, which she formed and served as co-president at with director Paul Feig.
Westwood One has promoted Todd Alan to Vice President, Affiliate Sales, Music & Entertainment. His previous position had been as Director, Affiliate Sales. In the New York City-based role Alan will manage and develop the company’s station relationships and distribution partnerships.
The American Advertising Federation has appointed Steve Pacheco as President and CEO. Pacheco comes to the AAF from Ducks Unlimited, where he was Chief Marketing Officer.
IN MEMORIAM
Jim McMullan, who starred in both film (Shenandoah, Downhill Racer) and TV series (Chopper One, Beyond Westworld), died of complications from ALS at his home in Wofford Heights, California on May 31. Many fans will know him as Texas Sen. Andrew Dowling on Dallas. He was 82.
