EXECUTIVE MOVES

Richard Tom has been named Chief Technology Officer at WarnerMedia. He replaces Jeremy Legg, who will head tech services in WarnerMedia parent AT&T’s Communications division as EVP and CTO. Tom co-founded short-form video firm Vessel with Jason Kilar, CEO of WarnerMedia.

Syrinthia Studer has been named Executive Vice President, Nickelodeon and Awesomeness Films. Studer most recently served as Paramount Pictures’ EVP, Worldwide Acquisitions.

Viamedia named John Piccone to the newly created position of President of QTT, a business division launching a cloud-based TV advertising solution. Piccone was previously President and CRO of Simulmedia.

Warren Schlichting has left his position as Sling TV Group President. His successor is Michael Schwimmer, previously EVP of International, Business Development and Strategy at Dish Network.
