Universal Television tapped JoAnn Alfano to be its new EVP, current series and new business development. Alfano was EVP, scripted programming, NBCUniversal International Studios before returning to the domestic side of the business.

ABC News promoted digital exec Colby Smith to SVP, content & partnerships for ABC News. He’ll continue to oversee the development of ABC News across platforms and develop original programming for non-linear platforms and digital video services.

Katz Media Group bumped Stacey Lynn Schulman to CMO. Schulman joined Katz in 2014 as EVP of strategy, analytics and research.

Sayles & Winnikoff Communications elevated Lulu Cohen to VP. Cohen joined the PR firm in October 2017 as account executive.

NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations named Daniel Alvarez VP of digital product management and design. Alvarez formerly was head of product and director of product management for HuffPost.
