Mark your calendars. Present will meet future on the Tuesday, April 22 episode of Late Show. CBS has announced that that’s the night the show’s future host, Stephen Colbert, will pay a visit to current host David Letterman.
In the wake of Ben Sherwood being elevated to President, Disney/ABC Television Group, Paul Lee has inked a new a multi-year deal to remain president of ABC Entertainment Group. Lee will continue to head ABC network’s entertainment operations, ABC studios, and entertainment programming for ABC daytime and Disney syndication.
In an interview with U.K’s Radio Times magazine, Ricky Gervais revealed that his comic creation David Brent, the boss on the BBC sitcom The Office, is a subject of interest from the BBC and Netflix for a small screen return. Gervais noted that both have expressed interest in working out a spinoff.
Rentrak has announced a local TV ratings contract expansion with Nexstar Broadcasting Group for multiple local market additions. With the new agreement, Rentrak is now providing TV measurement services to 39 Nexstar stations in 21 local markets.
The 2014 Billboard Latin Music Awards presented by State Farm will be hosted by TV personality Raul Gonzalez; actress, producer, model and singer/songwriter, Roselyn Sanchez; and actress, singer and TV host Laura Flores. The show will be produced and broadcast live by Telemundo pn Thursday, April 24 at 7p.
MTV has premiered its newest scripted comedy, Faking It, exclusively on the MTV App ahead of the show’s Saturday, April 22 premiere at 10:30p. This marks the first time a scripted series has debuted on the MTV app prior to its television debut. Fans can watch the preview, available through April 16, on the app on iOS, Android and Xbox 360 for Xbox Live Gold members in the U.S.

The Biggest Loser creator Dave Broome‘s 25/7 Productions is teaming up with Jeff Jarrett’s new Global Force Wrestling. The pair plan to produce new live events and unscripted series, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
RocketJump Studios, known for productions such as Video Game High School, has struck a deal with Lionsgate. Via their pact, Lionsgate will have access to RocketJump’s projects, which appear on a YouTube channel having some seven million subscribers, and disseminate the studio’s productions across TV, film, and online video.
REVOLT TV will air a 24-hour Beats Music marathon, highlighting the 2014 Grammy weekend concert that marked its official launch, beginning at 6a on Sunday, April 20. The special, titled "It Was A Good Day, Beats Music Presents: The Live 90’s Hip Hop Playlist," is headlined by industry icons Dr. Dre, Eminem, Nas, Puff Daddy, Ice Cube and Mase.
Dance coach and Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller hits the road in the new Lifetime series Abby’s Studio Rescue, premiering Tuesday, June 17 at 9p. Each week, the show will follow Abby as she dishes out no-nonsense advice hoping to save dance studios on the brink of disaster.
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is set to film in London for the first time, airing this holiday season on CBS. The show, seen in 192 countries, will include musical performances, pink carpet interviews, model profiles and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of it all.
Country singer Brad Paisley will guest star opposite his wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, in the Season 11 finale of CBS‘ Two and a Half Men. Specifics about his role are being kept under wraps.
