AOL premiered the first of the 50 episodes from its web series highlighting American manufacturing called This Built America. The series will air an episode from each state on AOL properties and thisbuiltamerica.com. Ford is officially sponsoring the show, starting each episode with a five-second pre-roll ad.
Telemundo Media and Chevrolet announced a new digital sports reality series, La Cueva de la Fiera. The weekly ten-episode web series gives fans an inside look into Mexican’s pro soccer league Club Leon. The show is available to view now at Telemundo.com/lacuevadelafiera, along with a digital hub for game highlights, post-game interviews and a social program to feature Twitter chats.

WWE teamed up with Mattel for a new animated web series called WWE Slam City, based on the line of action figures created by Mattel. The stop-motion series will include 26 two-minute episodes, and available on the WWE Network, Maker Studios‘ Cartoonium channel, WWESlamCity.com, Mattel.com and other video platforms like Hulu.
My Damn Channel launched new programming yesterday as part of its March line-up, including the comedy series called Self-Help. The star and creator of the series Danny Abrahms, who plays both patient and therapist in the show, told Cynopsis, "digital content allows me the opportunity to share my ideas and sense of humor without waiting for someone to give me permission, which is liberating." The series will debut a new episode every Tuesday on mydamnchannel.com/selfhelp.
Bravo’s Real Housewives Awards poll will close this Friday, but since launching it has already hit two million votes across web and mobile platforms for its 12 categories. Additionally, BravoTV.com has racked up more than 10.7 million total views and more than one million video streams for its RH awards content. The winners will be revealed on March 23rd throughout Bravo’s Sunday lineup.
Izea launched its Sponsorship Marketplace yesterday, a network of "influencers" or web celebs, bloggers and social media stars for advertisers to use for endorsements. The platform is similar to a digital display ad network, but providing influencers with substantial followers in places like Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. "What was taboo in 2006 is today’s norm, and what we’ve created is the modern day equivalent of product placement and endorsements through social mediums," IZEA CEO and founder Ted Murphy said. A recent example of the network: Kim Kardashian tweeted about Allstate Insurance and Lenovo used the platform for its Yoga laptop-tablet device. "IZEA gave us tons of guidance," Lenovo.com Sales and Marketing Executive Director Lewis Broadnax told Cynopsis. "We didn’t know all the FTC regulations, and they guided our process and worked with out teams… they provided that relevance that I was seeking from social."
Yahoo unveiled a new ad format incorporating animation called the Yahoo Motion Ad. The launch advertiser, Kraft, used animation for its Kraft Singles campaign on the front of the Yahoo login page.

Facebook‘s newest Paper app released its first content collaboration yesterday with TED, to exclusively stream content from the Ideas Worth Spreading conference until March 21. "Over the course of this week, the Ideas section will feature posts, photos and presentations from TED fellows, posts from other TED attendees, TED blog posts, TED talk videos… much of this content will be exclusive to Facebook and Paper," Facebook explained in a blog.
Video game broadcasting service, Twitch, announced it will integrate its service into mobile-app developer Gameloft’s Asphalt 8: Airborne game. The integrated update will be included in Apple‘s app, and the mobile game’s players can broadcast live gameplay to the web as well as stream images of their face and voice on a mobile device. Twitch released tools to allow mobile app developers to integrate its broadcast service foe iOS and Android devices earlier this month. Riot Games, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 have already included Twitch in its gameplay.
Rovio is making an RPG mobile game based off its most successful franchise called, Angry Birds Epic. The first RPG game for Rovio launched in Australia, Canada and New Zealand to test and receive feedback before the game’s global release.

In a new spot for The Canadian Film Fest opening this week in Toronto, Antoine Zombe explains how difficult it is to land an undead role as a friendly Canadian actor even if he has an advantage: he’s actually a zombie. In the hilarious spot, Zombe shows how he embraced his "true nature" to climb the ladder in Hollywood and fulfill his acting dreams. Just think, "less polite Canadian, more zombie!"
