ITV America has struck a partnership with former prosecuting attorney and televisions producer Marcia Clark to develop unscripted series for broadcast, cable and OTT platforms. Clark will serve as EP on all projects she develops, with the option to also appear on camera. She recently partnered with ITV America production company, ITV Entertainment, on the A&E series Marcia Clark Investigates the First 48, which premieres Thursday, March 29.
Seth Rogen is developing a U.S. adaptation of British comedy Plegs, after optioning rights from Rise Films. Rogen’s Point Grey Pictures, which he runs with partner Evan Goldberg, is developing the project, which follows three Romans working in the scriptorium of a grain company and attempt to get it on with their neighbors.
Jack Quaid (The Hunger Games) will topline Amazon’s straight-to-series drama The Boys. Hails from Supernatural creator and Timeless co-creator Eric Kripke, Preacher’s Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen, and Sony Pictures TV.
NBC set its summer slate for alternative series. America’s Got Talent returns on Tuesday, May 29 at 8p, followed by World of Dance at 10p. American Ninja Warrior bows Wednesday, May 30 at 8p, followed by Running Wild With Bear Grylls at 10p.
Doctors Terry Debrow and Paul Nassif will continue to work their magic on plastic-surgery-gone-wrong show Botched. E! renewed the show for a fifth season.
Schitt’s Creek received a fifth season renewal from Pop TV. The net ordered 14 episodes of the original comedy, up from the standard 13. Returns winter 2019.
Amazon Studios issued a straight-to-series order to Undone, its first adult animation show. Project stars Rosa Salazar (Maze Runner) and was co-created by Bob-Waksberg and BoJack Horseman writer/producer Kate Purdy.
Season 2 of drama Doctor Foster premieres Sunday, March 18 at 10p on Lifetime Movies.
WE tv drama Braxton Family Values is back for its sixth season on Thursday, March 22 at 9p.
Bravo Media makes its way to The Big Easy with Southern Charm New Orleans. Bows Sunday, April 15 at 9p.
Ray Romano is returning to his standup roots. The comedian is set to star in an hourlong comedy special at Netflix, which will feature new material. Taping and a release date have yet to be determined. 
Documentary Jane bows on National Geographic on Monday, March 12 at 8p.
World of X Games content series on ABC features Unbroken: The Snowboard Life of Mark McMorris on Saturday, March 10 at 2p. Follows the 2018 Olympic medalist’s journey back from a life-threatening backcountry injury.
CNBC’s Back in the Game airs Tuesday, March 13 at 10p. The one-hour special follows Alex Rodriguez as he steps in to help former NBA star Joe Smith regain financial balance after losing nearly all of the $60 million he earned in his career.
Smithsonian Channel debuts Epic Warrior Women on Monday, March 19 at 8p. Tells the tales of history’s most iconic female fighters.
O.J. Simpson: The Lost Confession? airs Sunday, March 11 at 8p on FOX. Features Simpson’s interview with publisher and TV/film producer Judith Regan.
Lifetime bows movie The Mistress Hunter, starring The Young and the RestlessLauralee Bell, on Friday, March 16 at 8p.
100 Years, the feature documentary by Melinda Janko, makes its U.S. broadcast premiere on Tuesday, March 13 at 8p on World Channel. (Check local listings.)  It’s part of the new season of America Reframed.
BET added to the cast of The Bobby Brown Story, a two-part miniseries starring Woody McClain as the R&B singer. Mekhi Phifer, Lil Rel Howery, T.K. Carter, Laz Alonso, Lance Gross, Alyssa Goss and Sandi McCree are also set to star in the production.
John Carroll Lynch (American Horror Story) will lead CBS All Access original ensemble drama $1, a mystery set in a small Rust Belt town in post-recession America. Acorn TV acquired the U.S. rights to FremantleMedia International’s No Offence. The SVOD service picked up the first two seasons of the police procedural that follows a team of detectives from a Manchester police station.
Bustle, the digital destination for millennial women, announced plans to debut So Tell Me. The news-focused video series is hosted by Erin Delmore.
The Women’s Broadcast Television Network announced its new name, Women On TV, along with its redesigned website and logo. WBTVN went live in the fall of 2016. “All our Apps on smart phones and our station across our OTT distribution partners are called Women On TV. However, our website address was www.wbtvn.tv. We wanted to make it easier to find us,” said Jayne Rios, Co-Founder of Women On TV. “Women On TV (www.wotv.tv) is who we are. So it just made sense to upgrade our brand name wile also changing the look and navigation of the website.”
Global sports provider Eleven Sports launched Eleven Prime, a new dedicated sports channel on social media service, Twitch.

Retitled Olympic versions of Entertainment Tonight (2.8, Live+SD national Nielsen rating, up 4% from the week before) and Inside Edition (2.8, up 4%) both picked up speed and were deadlocked. Meanwhile, next day coverage of the 90th Academy Awards on March 5 ignited several of the entertainment magazines. Entertainment Tonight (3.6/6 primary run weighted metered market average, up 12% from its year-ago time period average) took Oscar ratings honors among magazines. Extra (1.8/4 up 13%) also saw growth over last year’s averages. Also, Kelly and Ryan’s Live After Oscar Show (3.0/10, up 25%) earned its highest rating of the season on March 5.
The renamed Dr. Phil Olympic episodes (3.1, up 7%) opened up a wider lead in talk shows. Live with Kelly and Ryan- Olympics (2.3, steady) maintained its hold on second place. Other big movers among the top ten in the category were Dr. Oz-Olympics (1.1, up 22%) and first run true crime leader Crime Watch Daily (1.0, up 11%).
The Judge Judy-Olympic week (7.3, up 14%) overcame stiff competition from the Winter Games and was the top strip in syndication by a substantial margin. In addition, Hot Bench-Olympics (2.5, up 14%) finished as the third highest strip in daytime.
Through its first 10 telecasts Disney Channel’s ZOMBIES reached 12.8 million Total Viewers, including 4.0 million Kids 6-11. In other metrics, ZOMBIES is the net’s #1 video-on-demand property and has been #1 on the DisneyNOW app since its February 16 premiere.
FOX Business Network continued its winning streak over CNBC, sweeping the network in Business Day and Market Hour viewers during the week of February 26, according to Nielsen Media Research. Surrounding the announcement of President Trump’s plan for aluminum and steel tariffs, FBN Business Day coverage saw a 9 percent advantage over CNBC with 214,000 total viewers compared to 196,000 for the week, and a 7 percent advantage in the A24-54 demo with 32,000 viewers compared to CNBC’s 30,000 for the week.
Monday’s premiere of Por Amar Sin Ley on Univision reached 2.9 million Total Viewers 2+, who tuned in to all or part of it. The series averaged 1.6 million Total Viewers 2+, 619,000 A18-49 and 294,000 A18-34.
