NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution has sold Law & Order to local broadcast stations for a fall 2011 weekend syndication launch. This is the first time the long-running drama will be available in broadcast syndication. Law & Order was acquired by station groups covering 80% of the US including those stations owned by FOX, CBS, Cox, Gannett, Hearst and Sunbeam. Specific stations airing the drama consist of FOX’s WNYW-WWOR/New York, KTTV-KCOP/Los Angeles and WFLD-WPWR/Chicago; CBS’ KYW-WPSG/Philadelphia and WBZ-WSBK/Boston; Cox Communication’s KTVU-KICU/San Francisco and WPXI/Pittsburgh; Gannett’s WXIA-WATL/Atlanta; Hearst’s KCRA-KQCA/Sacramento; and Sunbeam’s WSVN/Miami.
