A special edition of World News with Diane Sawyer will air tonight at 630p with full election coverage starting at 7p. A special edition of Nightline will air at 235a. Senior White House Correspondent Jake Tapper will be at Obama campaign headquarters in Chicago while ABC World News weekend anchor David Muir will be at Romney campaign headquarters in Boston. Katie Couric will be monitoring social media reaction throughout the evening and Barbara Walters will offer historical context.
CBS – CBS Evening News Anchor and Managing Editor Scott Pelley will lead CBS News’ seven hours of election coverage tonight beginning at 7p from the CBS Broadcast Center in New York City. Pelley will be joined by FACE THE NATION Anchor Bob Schieffer, CBS THIS MORNING Co-Host Norah O’Donnell and CBS News Political Director John Dickerson. PBS – Senior correspondents Judy Woodruff and Gwen Ifill will co-anchor PBS NewsHour coverage this evening beginning at 8p on most PBS stations. They will be joined by NewsHour analysts, syndicated columnist Mark Shields and New York Times columnist David Brooks. Online coverage, including live text and video updates begins at 8a.
Telemundo Media – Decision 2012 is a collaborative effort with NBC News. Primetime coverage begins at 7p with Decision 2012, Election Night live from Democracy Plaza. Anchor Jose Diaz-Balart will lead the coverage which will also include Noticias Telemundo’s team of journalists and political analysts.
Univision – Univision Network will offer nationwide news coverage beginning at 7p tonight and continue until 3a. The network’s coverage will be live from Univision News’ Election Center in Miami with Noticiero Univision anchors Jorge Ramos and Maria Elena Salinas who lead a team of journalists and political analysts to provide Hispanic America with updates, projections and results. Joining Ramos and Salinas in the studio include Enrique Acevedo, Felix de Bedout, Lourdes Ramos and Gerardo Reyes along with other expert commentary and analysis from Helen Aguirre and Alfonso Aguilar, Fabian Nunez and Sergio Bendixen.
BET Networks – Election night coverage under the banner, Vote Like Your Life Depends On It, begins tonight with 106 & Park at 6p followed by a special edition of Don’t Sleep! hosted by T. J. Holmes at 10p and the premiere of BET News’ Battleground 2012: Vote Night hosted by Ed Gordon at 1030p which will air simultaneously on BET and Centric.
CNN – Election Night in America coverage will be led by anchors Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper from Washington; Candy Crowley in Boston; and Erin Burnett in Ohio beginning at 6p tonight. CNN’s coverage will encompass more than 40 consecutive hours of live programming from the network’s newly constructed, state-of-the-art studio and control room. CNN’s Election day coverage live begins in Washington at 5a with Early Start with John Berman and Zoraida Sambolin and Starting Point with Soledad O’Brien. National political reporter Jim Acosta will join Crowley in Boston at the Romney campaign headquarters while White House correspondents Jessica Yellin, Dan Lothian and Brianna Keilar will be live from Obama campaign headquarters in Chicago. John King will run the Magic Wall to offer analysis of CNN’s projections.
CNN en Espanol – will broadcast their coverage of the election beginning at 7p tonight moderated by the network’s senior political anchor, Juan Carlos Lopez along with anchors Patricia Janiot, Fernando del Rincon, Carmen Aristegui, Xavier Serbia, Guillermo Arduino and Alejandra Oraa. The network will be based at the CNN World Headquarters in Atlanta.
Comedy Central – Beginning at 10p tonight, Jon Stewart will head the network’s coverage with Election 2012: This Ends Now and Stephen Colbert’s Election 2012: A Nation Votes, Ohio Decides; The Re-Presidenting of America: Who Will Replace Obama? airs at 1030p.
Current TV – Election coverage tonight will be led by Vice President Al Gore beginning at 8p from the network’s studio in San Francisco. Gore will lead a roundtable and will be joined by other Current TV anchors including Michigan governor and host of The War Room, Jennifer Granholm, former New York governor and host of Viewpoint, Eliot Spitzer, host of The Young Turks, Cenk Uygur and comedian, commentator and host of So That Happened, John Fugelsang. Special episodes of Joy Behar: Say Anything! at 6p and Talking Liberally with Stephanie Miller at 7p will precede Current’s election coverage.
FOX News Channel – Election coverage titled America’s Election HQ begins at 6p this evening co-anchored by Special Report’s Bret Baier and America Live’s Megyn Kelly along with FNC’s senior political analyst Brit Hume, FOX News Sunday host Chris Wallace and contributors Joe Trippi, Juan Williams, Karl Rove, Kirsten Powers and Stephen Hayes. FNC’s election coverage will also include Martha MacCallum reporting on the exit poll data and Bill Hemmer relating results on the electronic “Bill-board.” Chief political correspondent Carl Cameron and senior national correspondent John Roberts will be live from the Romney campaign in Boston while chief White House correspondent Ed Henry and senior White House correspondent Wendell Goler will be live from the Obama campaign in Chicago.
MSNBC – Decision 2012 programming begins at 530a with Way Too Early followed by Morning Joe at 6a-9a. A special edition of Hardball with Chris Matthews begins at 5p. MSNBC’s all-night Decision 2012 coverage and analysis begins tonight at 6p hosted by Rachel Maddow with Chris Matthews and Rev. Al Sharpton, Lawrence O’Donnell, Ed Schultz and Steve Schmidt from New York City. Chuck Todd will relate the numbers; Tamron Hall will relate exit poll results; Melissa Harris-Perry will contribute from the Obama campaign headquarters in Chicago and Chris Jansing will report from Romney headquarters in Boston.
MTV – MTV News and the Power of 12 election campaign will broadcast special, live political newsbreaks tonight starting at 830p on MTV and mtvU. News coverage will also happen throughout the day via MTV.com. Sway Calloway will report from MTV studios in New York, Andrew Jenks will cover the election in Chicago and James Montgomery will be in Boston.
TV One – The network’s coverage begins at 7p tonight and TV One is partnering with NBC News for TV One: One Vote Matters 2012. NBC News’ Craig Melvin will anchor the coverage from NBC’s Washington, DC studios along with TV One’s Washington Watch host Roland Martin. Guests throughout the special coverage include Karen Finney, Joe Madison, Robert Traynham, Steve Gray, Mara Schiavocampo, Marc Morial, Benjamin Jealous, Patrick Gaspard, Tara Wall, Michael Hancock and Stacey Dash.
PBS takes to the road with a new travel-cooking series, The Mind of a Chef involving executive producer and narrator Anthony Bourdain as he takes viewers inside the mind of Korean-American chef and restaurateur David Chang. The first season, from the producers of Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations has 16 half-hour episodes and follows Chang as he visits everything from a ramen factory, travels to Montreal with comedian Ariz Ansari and goes on a BBQ tour of Texas, North Carolina and Kansas City. The Mind of a Chef kicks off this Friday on PBS (check local listings).
National music TV network, Fuse, part of The Madison Square Garden Company will premiere a new original half-hour unscripted series, Warped Roadies on December 7 at 11p. Warped Roadies follows the stories and activities of the crew charged with setting up the 2012 Vans Warped Tour as it travels cross-country. Over 51 days, the Vans Warped Tour roadies travel 16,000 miles and set up 41 shows for over 250 bands. The ten-episode series is produced by Magilla Entertainment.
Travel Channel is teaming with NFL Films and RIVR Media on a new series that goes inside the current 2012 season of the Cleveland Browns in NFL Road Tested: The Cleveland Browns set to debut December 4 at 10p. The NFL will allow Travel Channel to have unprecedented access as the pro football team travels from city to city during the regular season. The series is co-produced by NFL Films and RIVR Media for Travel Channel.
A second season is on tap for REELZCHANNEL’s drama series Bomb Girls. The network approved a 12-episode second season which will premiere in first quarter 2013. Meg Tilly stars in Bomb Girls which is set during World War II and relates the stories of women who work in a munitions factory in support of the European front. Season two begins just after the attack on Pearl Harbor. Rosie O’Donnell will also guest star during an episode in season two. Bomb Girls is produced by Muse Entertainment Enterprises and Back Alley Film Productions.
Bravo Media’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta produced by True Entertainment, delivered the network’s highest-rated season premiere ever among total viewers, based on Nielsen. The fifth season premiere episode brought in more than 3.2 million total viewers and more than 2.0 million A18-49 viewers.
National Geographic Channel reported its Sunday night premiere of the full-length action thriller SEAL Team Six: The Raid on Osama bin Laden posted a 1.4 A25-54 rating at 8p as well as 4.7 million total viewers and 2.2 million viewers with A25-54. NGC will encore the film on November 9 at 8p.
Programming Note: MTV will air a fundraising special to help rebuild and restore the Jersey Shore which was devastated by Hurricane Sandy last week. The one-hour show, Restore the Shore will invite people to contribute to the rebuilding of Seaside Heights, home to MTV’s show Jersey Shore. The special will air live from MTV’s Times Square Studio on November 15 at 11p and will feature the cast of the Jersey Show along with other special guests. MTV is also partnering with Architecture for Humanity, a non-profit organization that provides design and construction services to communities in need.

CBS Corporation and Hulu made a non-exclusive, multi-year licensing deal to stream programs from CBS’ television library on the Hulu Plus subscription service. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The CBS content will begin to appear on Hulu Plus in January 2013 and over subsequent months, subscribers will have access to more than 2,600 episodes from series such as Medium, Numb3rs and CSI: Miami as well as classics such as Star Trek, I Love Lucy and The Twilight Zone. Clips from Entertainment Tonight will also be available on Hulu and Hulu Plus.
Telco Productions, Inc. is offering What America Thinks with Scott Rasmussen: 2012 Year in Review as a one-hour special featuring the year-end polling numbers during 2012. Independent pollster Scott Rasmussen and national political pundits will offer analysis and commentary using the Rasmussen Reports public opinion polling results from the last 12 months. Stations picking up the program include KPHO/Phoenix, KMGH/Denver, WEWS/Cleveland, KTXL/Sacramento and KSNV/Las Vegas. The broadcast window is from December 13 through January 6, 2013. Barter split is 50% national, 50% local. Rasmussen currently hosts the half-hour weekly show, What America Thinks with Scott Rasmussen.
Lifestyle channel for outside enthusiasts, Outside Television, in tandem with its national rollout on Comcast Xfinity, will debut five original series. The five series are: newsmagazine series Dispatches based on Outside Magazine and hosted by current CBS News correspondent Serena Altschul; the adventure travelogue Surfing 28 States: India led by Aussie surfers and filmmakers Jonno Durant and Stefan Hunt; the second of three series installments of adventure snow trilogy, Jeremy Jones Further; Reel Rock, from adventure filmmakers Josh Lowell and Peter Mortimer; and a new season of morning show Outside Today.
NBC gave a pilot order for Gates, a single-camera comedy from Cathy Yuspa and Josh Goldsmith, the duo behind The Kings of Queens. Based on the British comedy of the same name, Gates is about the parents and staff who navigate the twice-daily social landmind that happens at the school drop-off gates of an elementary school. Yuspa and Goldsmith will write the script and serve as EPs along with Kaptial Entertainment’s Aaron Kaplan, Laurence Bowen and Philip Clarke of Feelgood Fiction, the UK production company behind the original series. 20th Television is producing.

Starz LLC promoted Michael Thornton to the newly-minted role as EVP/Acquisitions, Business Affairs and Legal.
