Want another look at one of the gorgeous gowns Elizabeth Taylor wore in Cleopatra? ReelzChannel has announced that the Beverly Hills Pawn episode “Guns and Gold Records,” premiering Wednesday, July 3 at 9p, will feature a dress the actress wore in the 20th Century Fox classic. The episode will follow Yossi Dina, series’ star and owner of The Dina Collection, as he negotiates a high-dollar deal to buy Taylor’s costume.
FOX is giving fans of So You Think You Can Dance a “SuperVote.” It all starts with the show’s broadcast at 8p tonight, when the top 20 finalists are paired into ten couples and work with choreographers on their routines. Viewers will be able to cast multiple votes online at one time via any of these destinations: www.fox.com/dance , the FOX NOW app and Facebook. To “SuperVote,” fans can allocate votes for one finalist or multiple finalists, for a total of 20 votes across all online voting destinations and they can interactively adjust their votes as the show unfolds. (Only fans with a registered Facebook account and located within the U.S., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands will be able to cast votes online.)
Get ready for the sand, the surf and the drama. Bravo Media is decamping to South Florida, when The Real Housewives of Miami premieres Monday, August 12 at 9p. The Housewives returning for another dose of histrionics are Lea Black, Adriana de Moura, Alexia Echevarria, Lisa Hochstein and Joanna Krupa. Also appearing in recurring roles this season are Marysol Patton and Ana Quincoces. Excitement is sure to run high this season as both Joanna and Adriana plan their dream weddings.
GSN premieres an all-new version of Minute to Win It featuring host Apolo Anton Ohno on Tuesday, June 25 at 8p. Episodes will air back-to-back every Tuesday from 8 to 10p. Competitors face up to 10 challenges that escalate in level of difficulty using everyday household items, all for the chance to win the grand prize of $250,000.
UK drama Broadchurch is coming to BBC America. The series, starring Olivia Colman and David Tennant, centers on a quiet seaside town following the murder of a young boy and the impact it has on the tight-knit community when everyone becomes a suspect. Broadchurch, the most tweeted UK drama ever, premieres Wednesday, August 7 at 10p. It is a Kudos and Imaginary Friends co-production and distributed by Shine International.
Pretty Little Liars star Tyler Blackburn and Brittany Curran of Twisted will participate in live Twitter chats during the East Coast feeds of their series on Tuesday, June 25 on ABC Family. Fans should tweet Blackburn at @tylerjblackburn from 8 to 9p and include the hashtag #PLLChatfrom. Curran will chat from 9 to 10p. Fans should tweet her at @BrittanyCurran and include the hashtag #TwistedChat.
Save the date! The annual Cynopsis: Sports Business Summit is set to take place on Aug. 14 in NY, and will feature some of the biggest names driving sports today. In addition, we are holding our Women of Action cocktail event celebrating and discussing the impact women are having in the sports industry on August 13.
It’s a strike for ESPN. The network has inked a new five-year rights deal with the Professional Bowlers Association. The new pact begins with the 2013 World Series of Bowling on December 1. It will grow ESPN’s bowling coverage from 25.2 hours to 36 hours per year.
ITV2 has commissioned ITV Studios to make Tricked, a new magic show with a twist. The series features a mystery magician conjuring up mischief, as unsuspecting celebrities and members of the public witness him surviving such dilemmas as being pushed off a 10-story building or bailing out of a moving taxi and then teleporting himself back into the driver’s seat. The show will premiere on ITV2 this fall.
Bounce TV has acquired the broadcast TV rights to The American Bible Challenge and Catch 21. The two game shows are from the cable network GSN. Both shows will debut on Bounce TV later this summer.
Paul Giamatti has joined the cast of Downton Abbey. He will debut in the season four finale of the PBS drama as Harold, Cora’s maverick, playboy brother.
Happy Days creator Garry Marshall has booked a guest spot on the Nickelodeon comedy See Dad Run, reuniting him with the show’s star Scott Baio, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Marshall will play TV dad to Baio’s David on the show within the show.
Gary David Goldberg, creator of acclaimed sitcom Family Ties, died from brain cancer on June 23 at his home in Montecito, California. He was 68 years old.
LOVEFiLM, an Amazon company, has struck a multi-year licensing deal with CBS Studios International that will expand the range of TV content available on LOVEFiLM Instant. LOVEFiLM’s UK and German members will now be able to stream CBS‘ The Good Wife and Blue Bloods and Showtime‘s Nurse Jackie, Californication and Dexter. The deal between LOVEFiLM and CBS is also great news for Star Trek fans. The original 1960s series and Star Trek: Voyager are now available to stream on-demand.

The finale of the sixth season of AMC‘s Mad Men on Sunday night was the highest-rated in the show’s history. The episode delivered a 2.1 HH rating and 2.7 million viewers (1.3 million adults 25-54), which is up from the fifth season finale, last year. In addition to sizable live same day ratings, it remains a show that adds a significant audience, with an average of 2.1 million viewers within three days and an average of 2.4 million additional viewers within seven days of the live telecast through the first 10 episodes this season.
Discovery‘s Skywire Live with Nik Wallenda on Sunday, featuring “The King of the High Wire” making history as the first person ever to cross over the Grand Canyon, delivered 8.5 million total viewers P2+ from 8 to 10:20p, and a whopping 12.98 million total viewers P2+ during the walk segment, shattering ratings records across numerous platforms, including social media, where it generated 1.3 million tweets driving it to become the #1 most social show across broadcast and cable in the U.S.
Friday A18-49 Analysis: Univision won the night among A18-49 viewers Friday with a 1.4/6, according to final primetime national ratings from Nielsen. At 8p, Univision’s Porque el Amor Manda was #1 at 1.4/6, followed by ABC’s Shark Tank at 1.0/4. Univision’s Amores Verdaderos led at 9p at 1.6/6. ABC’s What Would You Do? placed second at 1.2/4. ABC’s 20/20 took over the top spot at 10p at 1.5/5. Univision’s Que Bonito Amor followed at 1.3/5.

News Corp. has appointed Julie Henderson as Executive Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Chief Communications Officer of spin-off company, 21st Century Fox.
Henderson, formerly News Corp.’s senior vice president of corporate affairs and chief communications officer, will continue to serve as its spokesperson. In her new role she will continue to handle communications strategies supporting finances, regulatory issues, litigation, mergers and acquisitions.
Telemundo Station Group has appointed Juan Witt as Vice President of Business Development at its new business development office in Mexico City. Witt will play a key role in the continued growth and success of Telemundo Local Media.
