TouchVision, the first 24/7 live video stream information network available simultaneously on television, online, on tablets and on phones, is set to launch this summer. Segments will be presented as “News Movies,” and is aimed at Millennials, who have often shown little interest in TV news programming.

~ MORE GOOD STUFF ~

Former American Idol and The X Factor judge Paula Abdul is heading to FOX‘s So You Think You Can Dance. Abdul will join Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy and FOX Sports broadcaster Erin Andrews as a guest judge to critique the show’s hoofers on tonight’s 8p episode.

E! News is upping its style and beauty quotient. Zanna Roberts Rassi has joined the show’s on-air team as a contributing fashion correspondent. Rassi, who is Marie Claire’s senior fashion editor, will also help shape The Trend, Eonline’s beauty and lifestyle destination (www.eonline.com/trends) with interviews and content about today’s leading style makers.

Clueless fans, get ready. High school sweethearts Dionne and Murray — namely, actors Stacey Dash and Donald Faison — are back together again on TV Land‘s The Exes, airing Wednesday, July 10 at 10:30p. In the episode, Phil (Faison) picks up a hot woman (Dash) and finds out she’s a recommitted virgin.

MTV‘s pop-culture countdown 10 on Top returns on Saturday, July 13 at 12:30p. Host Lenay Dunn will be joined by singer Jason Derulo, who will guest co-host the season premiere, which will begin the count down of the top 10 most talked-about celebrities and trending topics of the week. The first episode features interviews with Khloe Kardashian, The Wanted and Avril Lavigne and more.

Save the date! The annual Cynopsis: Sports Business Summit is set to take place on Aug. 14 in NY, and will feature some of the biggest names driving sports today. In addition, we are holding our Women of Action cocktail event celebrating and discussing the impact women are having in the sports industry on August 13.

~ DISTRIBUTION, CARRIAGE & CLEARANCE ~

CBS Corporation and Netflix, Inc. have extended a multiyear licensing agreement for select CBS library content to be streamed instantly to Netflix customers. Under the revised deal, new titles such as L.A. Complex, 4400, and CSI: NY will be available to Netflix subscribers. ~ RETURNING SERIES ~

WE tv has ordered six, one-hour episodes of a new reality show starring R&B trio Sisters With Voices, who had a string of hit songs in the 1990s. The series, titled SWV – Sisters With Voices, will profile Cheryl “Coko” Clemons, Leanne “Lelee” Lyons and Tamara “Taj” Johnson‘s make-it-or-break-it comeback. It’s slated to air in early 2014 and is being produced by Entertainment One Television.

PBS has greenlit an updated format of History Detectives to air in 2014. Comprised of four one-hour programs, HDSIHistory Detectives Special Investigation [wt] will focus on a single story per episode and introduce the fresh perspective of a new detective. Kaiama Glover will join History Detectives veterans Wes Cowan and Tukufu Zuberi to collectively investigate each mystery from all angles.

~ CASTING NEWS ~

Three of Nashville‘s recurring cast members have been upped to series regulars. Sisters Lennon and Maisy Stella and Chris Carmack have all been promoted for the show’s second season. The Stella sisters have been with the ABC country music drama since the pilot, while Carmack joined the series at the end of its freshman run.
