The miniseries The Kennedys returns to REELZ starting Sunday, October 6 to get viewers ready for the docudrama JFK: The Smoking Gun, which premieres on Sunday, November 3. REELZ will air two episodes of The Kennedys every Sunday in October. Check local listings for times.

There’s a shakeup brewing at Real Housewives of Orange County. E! News is reporting that Gretchen Rossi and Alexis Bellino won’t be returning for season nine, as the show looks to change its dynamics.

Adult Swim has launched live streaming functionality on AdultSwim.com and via the Watch [adult swim] app on iOS and Android devices. The launch marks another step in Adult Swim’s expansion across multiple platforms.

Esquire Network has partnered with Remy Martin as a presenting sponsor. The deal includes multi-platform advertising and marketing elements on the network, online, in print and on tablet.

TLC is taking viewers into the hidden world of the FLDS church. Breaking the Faith, premiering Sunday, November 24, focuses on several young men and women who leave the community to start new lives. Escaping the Prophet, debuting in December, follows former member Flora Jessup as she helps families flee the compound.

Science Channel closes out the season of The Unexplained Files on Wednesday, October 2 at 9p. The finale will explore human combustion and airplane alien attacks.

Tom Green is joining AXS TV in the live, one-hour talk show Tom Green Live  beginning Thursday, October 3 at 9p. “Expect spontaneous, ridiculous, and outrageous conversations,” says Green.

GSN has signed comedian-actor DeRay Davis to host Mind of A Man. The half-hour game show features two female contestants trying to figure out what men really think with the help of a celebrity panel. The network has ordered 40 episodes of the show to premiere in 2014.

Nature‘s Saving Otter 501 premieres Wednesday, October 16 at 8p on PBS. The show takes viewers behind the scenes at California’s Monterey Bay Aquarium to see the work of the Sea Otter Research and Conservation program.

A Shot to Save the World premieres on the Smithsonian Channel on World Polio Day, Thursday, October 24 at 8p. The documentary  reveals the story behind one of the greatest feats of medical science, the development of the first polio vaccine.

Nat Geo Wild debunks the mysteries of mythical creatures in the three-part Halloween special The Monster Project, to premiere Saturday, October 26 at 8p. Actor/comedian Judah Friedlander will host.

Univision Network debuts new telenovela Mentir Para Vivir on Monday, October 7 at 10p. It focuses on a mother and daughter, who must lie and assume new identities after someone is shot dead.

TNT has ordered a pilot from Blake Herron, the writer behind The Bourne Identity. The action/adventure drama has been described as National Treasure meets The Bourne Identity.

TBS has greenlit an untitled comedy from executive producer Conan O’Brien and Josh Heald (Hot Tub Time Machine). It focuses on 20-something Connor Logan and his pals, who reinvigorate a town on the verge of losing its identity by buying and reopening the local brewery.

ABC has a modern day Houdini procedural series in the works, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Buckle up for more belly laughs. NickMom premieres the second season of NickMom Night Out on Monday, October 14, at 10p. The series, hosted by Sherri Shepherd, features stand-up comedians putting a spotlight on the chaos and hilarity that comes with being a parent.

The second season of docu-series Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life premieres on Wednesday, October 30 at 10:30p on MTV. While season one followed Ke$ha on the road, season two gives viewers a glimpse of her down town and introduces her family.

Breaking Bad‘s Bryan Cranston will guest-star on How I Met Your Mother later this season. He’ll reprise the recurring character he last played in 2007: Hammond Druthers, Ted’s (Josh Radnor) loathed former boss.

~ RATINGS ~

ABC‘s series debut of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D opened a strong #1 in the 8p time period with Adults 18-49, surpassing NBC‘s Tuesday premiere of The Voice by 15% and CBS‘ season premiere of NCIS by 35%, to qualify as TV’s highest rated drama debut in nearly 4 years. It was Tuesday’s #1 TV show in Adults 18-49 (tie) and across all key Men demographics (M18-34/M18-49/M25-54). ABC will rebroadcast the episode on Thursday, September 26 at 8p.

Monday’s debut  of Sleepy Hollow on FOX (3.5/9) dominated its time period and grew +133% from last year’s premiere of Mob Doctor among Adults 18-49 (9/17/12, 1.5/4). Sleepy Hollow was FOX‘s highest-rated Fall drama premiere in seven years (since 9/5/06) and was the highest-rated drama premiere on any broadcast network in one year (since Revolution on 9/17/12). In Live + 3 day, the series (5.0/13) is FOX’s highest-rated Fall drama premiere among Adults 18-49 in 12 years (since 24, 5.4/13 on 11/6/01). I

Fueled by its rapid distribution gains Bounce TV recently began being rated by Nielsen Media. In August, the network surpassed TV One in Adults 18+ viewership; topped AMC, Bravo, TruTV, TLC, Discovery and 80 other ad-supported cable networks in African American ratings and viewership with Adults 18-49 and 25-54, and racked up double-digit Total Day growth among all Adults (+17%) and across P18-49 (+12%) and P25-54 (+18%).
